Staples Glenvar Bonded Leather Big and Tall Chair

Love this chair. Super comfy for a tall guy. Real nice leather with white stitching. The wife is short, but she likes it too.

For the most part I like the chair and it’s very supportive of my lower back and neck area. The only thing I don’t like about it is how low it is. Maybe because it’s for big and tall people which I’m really not, but I wish the chair would go higher. I always get sleepy when I sit in this chair which is proof how comfortable it is. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing when I have work to do.☺️

Artificial leather is peeling off from arms, seat and back of chair. Chair pneumatic cylinder quit working after one year.

After 3 years the Bonded Leather is just peeling off. I really liked this chair, but know it looks terrible. Time to look for a new chair.

Highly recommend, but make sure you are a larger person, or wanting a large seat.

I bought this chair from Staples for around 200 dollars. I'm a 6'4" 250lb man. I have one major gripe with this chair. There is a plastic tab above the piston actuator that prevents a person from leaning all the way back if the chair piston is up at all. My general seating position is about an inch up from the bottom. Every time I leaned back in the chair it would drop an inch. Talk about a PITA. I just disassembled the chair this morning and hacked that plastic tab out and voila! no more dropping issues.Edit: 4th year update - I'm still using this chair every day at work. The pleather has held up well and I wish I could find another one for my home office but alas they are out of stock everywhere.I don't need a company designing chairs trying to save me from myself. If I'm stupid enough to raise the chair height to the max and lean back in it I deserve whatever happens to me.That being said I love the chair. It's well padded and doesn't seem rickety at all. The base is solid metal. It's low enough to get under a desk.

comfy but the carriage broke in half and tosses you forward onto the floor. not the strongest construction materials.
