It works
Place them at the far edge of the outdoor area you want to keep insect free. They attract all outdoor flying insects and are very effective at trapping them.

Doesn't work for mosquitos, flies, or gnats.
I'm on my 2nd one of these. On the first one the fan didn't work at all. On this one the fan is so weak that it doesn't suck in any bugs. I have gnats, small flies, and other bugs that are walking all over the grate covering the fan and none of them are being sucked in. The mosquitos aren't even attracted to the light at all.Update. I let this run nonstop for 5 days. I had about a cup of small dead moths and other flying insects in the trap. I sifted through it and I didn't see a single mosquito, fly, or gnat. The only good things I can say about it are that it is lightweight and easy to clean. Returning.

Not powerful enough
It looks like it would zap bugs but it is supposed to trap them with a fan/vacuum but it’s not powerful enough to catch our muscled-up flies :/

works well
I have bought this item twice. The 1st one worked very well, but the bulb went out. It says bulb is replaceable. Trying to find any replacement bulb information is impossible. I have emailed the company, looked at the instruction manual, searched online and any other place that I could think of without any luck. I tried to take apart the top to look at the bulb it came with, I can't take it apart so I bought a new one as I needed something quick. This is why overall I only gave 3 stars.Hopefully when I get a chance I can take apart the old one and find the information I need.

Works well
This works really well. Tip: turn it off before bed to reduce the amount of moths that die in it
