It really helps my dry mouth at night I don't need it during the day but gosh it really helps at night.

I have very dry mouth and these help considerably. It’s the only thing that has actually worked. When I wake up, my mouth is moist.

Some medications I am on have dry-mouth as a side effect. Saliva fights disease, so dry-mouth can be harmful to dental health. The XyliMelt disks are made of the xylitol sugar substitute that a dental hygienist recommended to me as being beneficial to tooth and gum health. Unlike other lozenges, these have a coating on one side that causes the disks to stick to my gums to protect against accidentally swallowing one and the small possibility of choking on it in my sleep. I used to need 2 to last through the night but lately one seems to do the trick. I tried Biotine but it did nothing for me. I also have tried a spray that you squirt in your mouth for instant relief. It works well for that, but the relief doesn't last. I also tried something that was a thin rectangle with an area like a stick of shoving gum except it was much thinner than gum. It dissolves almost instantly and provided relief, but again, unlike the Melts, it doesn't last veery long.

Finally, a mint/melt that actually works for dry mouth! Refreshing and reliable, these Xyalmelts are a pleasant surprise and a big help for people who struggle with dry mouth problems. Wonderful!

These things work great in daytime or overnight while sleeping.

The XyliMelts work perfectly for me. I use them every night, and as long as I can keep my mouth shut, I have no dry mouth to wake me up during the night. I read one review that said the XyliMelts almost made the person choke because they produced too much saliva. This situation has not been the case with me. If anyone encounters this problem, I would suggest using fewer XyliMelts or even cutting one in half with a pill cutter.My only complaint is that once I find a great price, I go to reorder again and the price has gone up. I don't know if this is Amazon's fault or the supplier, but I keep looking around until I find a low price.

This is the best product I have found for dry mouth. One tablet per night solves all the dryness caused by my blood pressure medicine. It adheres to your chosen spot on one of your gums and dissolves slowly all night. Do not chew it, however.

It came on the date expected. It appears to be exactly what I wanted.
