Leg Avenue Men's Blue Velvet Regency Coat

The jacket was comfortable and for the most part made of great fabric. One note, the eyelet hooks pop open as you move, so get some velcro to keep the jacket shut. Also, the buttons in the back tail popped off at the end of the night, but just need to be sewn on stronger. Overall I was happy with the product and it shipped fast!

Worked very well for my high school drama class' production of Into the Woods. Two characters who both needed a frock coat (and luckily are never in the same scene) shared it, and this coat stood up to being passed back and forth between them during multiple dress rehearsals and performances. It's not super amazing quality when viewed up close, but it has all the cosmetic flourishes that make it look good from a distance--cuffs, tails, buttons, etc. I was also glad that this is not made w/ skimpy Asian sizing, as my kids who needed to share it are both pretty big boys-- over 6' tall and broad through the shoulders. Coat stood up well and survived to go into storage for future years' shows.

I bought the men’s size medium as part of a pirate costume. It worked great, being large enough to wear a parka underneath while participating in outdoor Halloween festivities at night in New Hampshire.

I believe these vintage coats were made the way they were made back then. They don't seem to be made to falter the body and I believe they were made for the jacket to be worn open as in the picture. I plan to use mines for cosplay (steampunk, pirate play). When I do steampunk, I will probably wear a vest with it.

My boyfriend was beast for Halloween. I’m happy we went with this jacket. It’s very sharp looking and great quality. It did run a little large but bigger is better than smaller.

Ordered two sizes up and fit perfectly.Surprisingly good material. The jacket is unlined but the price is right

So I got the next size up and then took in the sleeves and the back a bit The look and feel is brilliant and the color pops.

I have the feeling they sold me a return from the way it was folded. I'll try to make it look less wrinkled... otherwise good buy. Keep in mind you only get the purple/blue jacket.
