A really nice size & stylish therapy lamp to put on a bedside table. I bought a round one as I think it reminds me of the sun as well as giving a lovely bright light when I switch it on in the morning, especially if it's a dull grey day. Having a remote control and varying brightness plus timer is a good option too which some lamps don't have. And the price is competitive. I'm pleased I bought it.

I really like the round shape and there are lots of different settings both in terms of the tone of the light and also the strength. It comes with a remote, and also a spare battery for the remote which is really useful. It also has controls on the back of the lamp should you misplace the remote. For these little extras I'd say it is definitely worth the money. It does need to be plugged in to the mains, and doesn't have a carry case so isn't portable but it is recommended you use in the morning at home so that isn't an issue for me.It also comes with very clear set up and user instructions.In terms of the wider benefits on mood/energy levels, it is too early to say but I am very hopeful this will improve my symptoms of SAD this winter, and I have certainly had no side effects.

Nice and bright, works well so far

As a native of Lancashire who moved to East Anglia for more sunshine I am a firm believer in the concept of Seasonal Affective Disorder. Whether it is a physical or psychological phenomenon is beyond my expertise to say, but I do believe that mood is affected.And even in the sunnier East we have the same hours of daylight in winter as in the North West so supplementing the daylight hours with a lamp seems sensible to me. This lamp is designed to make good some of that light deficiency. It is simple to use and has four different settings so that you can choose the one you want to use. It also comes with a remote control and timer.The other key impression about this is that it is a big lamp compared to others I have seen in the past. The product page says that it has a diameter of 25cm but I have to say that it seems even larger than that! But that also means that there is big light surface for you to receive the light from.Can I say that it works - well not definitively without a scientific experiment. But if the simple act of using it makes one feel better then that's fine.Price wise this is at the upper end at just under £46 at the time of this review and for that reason I give it four rather than five stars.

UTTER GARBAGE. 10,000 lux at 15 cm max. Advertised as 10,000 lux at 30 cm. Measured with two different lux meters. 10,000 lux is the recommended minimum brightness required for mood/cognitive benefits as per the science. No one will hold their face <15 cm from this light for 10- 20 mins daily. I made a mistake by falling for the low price. Waste of money and another pointless hit to the environment.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m a sufferer of S.A.D ( Seasonal Affective Dissorder ) Omg I wasn't expecting it to make me feel any different, but the second I turned it on, it was like someone flicked a switch inside me, I instantly felt good, it's hard to describe the feeling.I am quite light sensitive to certain types of light and me personally I don't like thebrightest ice white. I prefer the mellow white & the warmer sunshine tone, when altering the temperature of the light it feels as if you’re sitting out in the sunshine, minus the heat of the sun.It's design is so simple, will blend into anyoneshome, has lovely soft edges, easy to wipe dustclean, to the back you have buttons to give youmore settings.Remote comes with a battery plus a spare, many settings on it but very easy to use.I'm using this every day now at the same time for about 20-30 mins depending on whattime I have. It’s brilliant happy days 😊

Great product until you buy more than one - now the remotes dont work and people in another room turn yours off and on when they use theirs. Useless! Tried to email supporter team but the email came back as address unknown. Waste of money -= shame because I was going to get more of them for different rooms.

Like many people I tend to suffer from the Winter glums and I thought I'd give this a try to see if it helps change that.This arrived in a beautiful box, with full instructions, remote and wired UK plug. The lamp itself was a little bigger than I expected, but it was solidly built and easy to attach to it's stand.It has varying levels of brightness and warmth you can test out to see which ones you prefer and a timer so you can allocate specific time slots for it to be on. I have it on my desk in the morning and I find it very pleasant to use.While I can't say it has altered my mood or made me perkier it's only been used for a few days and the effects are likely to be subtle and build up the longer it is used.We are only in Autumn now so hopefully by the time Winter arrives I will have noticed a big difference in my mood and grumpiness when the lack of Sun hits full force.I will continue using it regularly as it really is a pleasant experience and I think it is worth the money.
