*2nd update* They replaced the pad for me. The new one works great and so I’m bringing my rating up to 5 stars.*update* I am now only giving this product one star as it is essentially useless for me. There are now over 20 stones missing. This heating pad does not get moved around a lot, it is crazy that after less than 3 months, it has gotten this bad. I will be contacting the seller, and will update my review if they make it right.I like this product a lot. It has helped with my chronic back pain and it definitely gets as hot (even too hot) as I need. I do wish it came with a pillowcase type cover that could go over the stones as they are too hot to come in direct contact with the skin. Yes, you can add your own, but at this price point, it would be nice to have a cover that fits the pad perfectly for when your shirt isn’t quite long enough or you are moving around a lot and your shirt rides up.However, my main gripe is that the stones are disappearing. They are somehow sliding underneath each other. Some of them I can feel under the fabric layer, others I can’t. I can’t get any of them back into their proper position. So far there are 7 stones that have done this. This is really disappointing as I’ve only had this pad for about 6 weeks.

My boyfriend and I both sleep on a Back Rescue Far Infrared Heating Pad Pro (with Jade Stones). They are 21" X 32", and easy to adjust the timer and temperature.I bought them because my bed is cold in the fall and winter, and I have pain in my back and neck due to arthritis. My boyfriend also has a cold bed and a bad back and neck.I highly recommend this heating pad; it is wonderful and I use it almost every night. My cat sleeps on it during the day from fall to spring; the heat feels real good to her too. It has been a life saver; my back is not stiff all the time anymore and I get very good sleep on it.

Both a physical therapist & chiropractor recommended we buy a heating pad to address a family member’s lower back issue, ideally, staving-off surgery. After reading many reviews, often the extent to which we consumers can learn about a product or service, we settled on Back Rescue’s product. For the first few months the product worked marvelously; of all the exercises and modalities used, the heating pad provided the most relief quickly becoming heavily depended upon. Eventually (well within the advertised ‘1-yr warranty’), when turning-on the unit electrical breakers in the home started tripping causing us to go outside to reset all hours of the day. We literally tried plugging the device into every room of the home, including, specially implemented 25 amp sockets intended larger devices like treadmills, infrared saunas and the garage refrigerator experiencing no change. The product had failed. When we first bought the unit the vender followed-up via email inquiring about speed of shipping, usage, asking questions about product happiness, which at the time, we were happy to provide. Upon having issues with the unit, same day communication with the vender declined. We’d ask a question one day and their responses were, on average, at least a day later, usually in the form of asking us to troubleshoot the unit. We finally stated ‘we’d tried all the above and to please send the warrantied replacement,’ which the vender responded in the affirmative. Days later we followed-up asking for shipping details and tracking information. The vender’s response was ‘they were checking and would reply same day,’ which didn’t happen. The tardy reply (based on the seller's unsolicited promise) was ‘they guess they had no stock for a few days and the unit would be sent Monday.’ Our ‘feel’ of communication with the vender had literally gone from refreshingly on-the-spot, to purposeful delay and unprofessional; Customer service palpably diminished. It is worth mentioning, to alleviate our family member’s medical condition and, after perceiving the pushback from Back Rescue, we felt compelled to purchase a second unit from another vender for relief.UPDATE 6.11.19The warranty replacement for the above unit has also failed (before the warranty period for the original unit has expired). BUYER BEWARE! It’s worth mentioning, the back-up unit we purchased from UTK continues working flawlessly...

This product heats the deep tissue. It helps relief the sore muscles that give me back pain . Their customer service post sale is amazing!!

This heating pad deserves three times tbe 5 Star reviews. It works really well and is really great quality. I’ve found I get most relief if I spend an hour on it. This has been the only thing that helps relieve my muscle knots in the back of my shoulders and the neck pain that connects to that. I’m also planning on using it on my elbows and then icing after - it’s supposed to really help with inflammation. I recommend it highly. I have foam rollers, a theracane and more at home, and this heating pad provides the most relief based on what I’ve tried so far. I’m happy I found it!

I use this every night for chronic pain condition and it definitely helps. Great size, perfect actually for back/hips. My complaint is I have been using this for about 10 months now and 8 or 9 of the stones have fallen off the mat. They are now trapped inside the outer case rolling around! Not ideal. Also the heating elements seem to have slipped into the outer portion of the pad where there are no stones so as it is heating up it gets quite warm in that spot. I will be trying to contact the company's customer service....

I suffer from chronic back pain and Cervical radiculopathy. Most nights are sleepless nights managing only about 4 to 5 hours sleep. When the infrared device arrived I put it into my chair and was amazed how wonderful it made me feel. My pain slowly melted away. Last night I slept on it, setting the temperature about 37C or 98.6F. I slept soundly until 5:30 AM, which is late for me.I love the fact you can set the temps and times. I have another infrared device which I paid over $249 for with only one temperature setting and it only fits in the small of my back.I have a complaint, the power cord needs to be longer, 18 to 24 inches extra.Otherwise, it is wonderful, so the wonderful my wife has taken it away from me.
