very fast acting
The media could not be loaded. I used this on a rather fresh cat scratch right below my collar bone, the scratch was kind of deep and the scab had recently come off leaving a pink shiny scar.I used this gel 2x a day (though some days I was too lazy to use it or forgot), during the day I just put on a thin layer and rubbed it in, at night I put on the gel and then also a silicone scar sheet to prevent the gel from rubbing off and you can see the results in the photo - about 2 week difference. The dot part of the scar is gone completely, the longer scratch scar is a barely visible discoloration when I turn a certain angle against the light but there is no more shininess of the scar. Normally I would have these kind of scars stay on my skin for months before they start fading. The gel itself leaves a silicone like slippery residue so I would advise using it with a silicone scar sheet to not have it rub off and obviously using it on fresh scars will give faster results, for old scars you will need to do this for a few months to start noticing a difference.

Great but you have to be consistent
Great product. Good texture, doesn’t leave the skin sticky. Hydrating, and no particular smell. Have seen improvement but being consistent for me hard. So i’m sure if I used consistently the improvement would have been greater. But reduction in redness noticeable

A Greasy & Sadly Untrustworthy Product Lacking Info, Testing & Proof
I’ve only just started using this so I can’t comment yet on whether it works and shows results for me, but then again, whatever it may or may not do for my skin won’t really help anyone else; we’re all different and what works for one person may not work for the other, so with all such things like this the only way you’ll know is by giving it a try for yourself. Unfortunately the price is quite steep, so if you don’t have the money to risk on it I’d probably otherwise opt for a better known brand with a little more reassurance. - What Is It? -This is designed to be odourless, cruelty-free, make-up friendly and easy to apply. In theory, it should be able to penetrate the skin deeply and also form a protective barrier with “strong permeability”. The gel should then increase tissue activity while repairing damage cells, which is how the appearance of skin very gradually improves. In theory. Whether it works or not is another matter. The product claims to be suitable for various types of scars. I wanted to try this primarily for slight acne scarring on my face from years ago, and more recent surgical scars on my abdomen. The ingredients listed on the box are : Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, dimethiconol, phenyl trimethicone. There are no amounts or strengths listed and no additional ingredients mentioned.- Applying & How Long To Get Results -To apply, it suggests you clean and dry the area first, then apply a little gel and massage it into the skin gently for 3-5 minutes. The packaging recommends applying 2-3 times a day (vs the product description saying 2x a day). Once the gel is dry, you can use sunscreen or make-up afterwards. That said, I’ve not really found this to dry, it just stays greasy. The gel is clear and the consistency is fairly thick. It smooths onto skin well but it doesn’t seem to really sink in, it’s almost like it leaves a greasy layer on top. No biggie perhaps unless you touch your face or your lie down and get it on your pillow, but at least it’s clear rather than coloured. The “recommended duration of treatment” according to the product page description is 60-90 days. This is also DIFFERENT to what the box states. On the box it provides the following time-frames : 8 weeks for new scars, 3-6 months on existing scars. So it’s potentially double the time required for older scars than you may think looking at the online description. Just be aware of that as you’ll need patience, perseverance to use it and potentially more than one bottle.I’ve not used this long enough to comment on any difference but the lack of information on the product makes me more sceptical.A Trustworthy Brand & Product? Unsure, But I’m Not Reassured -Firstly, the product packaging claims it is “manufactured in an FDA registered”, which doesn’t make any sense. I’m hoping that means it’s FDA registered and they’re happy with it. Then it says it is “made with FDA approved materials”. Who knows. The discrepancies between the product description and what’s stated on the box make me feel rather uncertain. You’d like to think it’d all be the same. There seems to be NO information on testing - was is tested on animals? Was it dermatologically tested? Have people really tried this yet? Have dermatologists said it’s any good? It just states “pharmacist recommended scar therapy gel” but how do we trust that’s true when there’s NOTHING I can find online to back any of this up?Oddly enough, I can’t find any contact information for Mebak online. I can’t find any website or social media presence for the brand either. Nor can I find it mentioned anywhere, other than collation sites for shopping. No reviews, no mentions, no top 10 scar gel posts. Nothing. Considering it says on the bottle that it’s the “plastic surgeon #1 scar reduction treatment”, I find that all rather strange. I don’t know how they’ve made that claim when there’s nothing online to suggest it’s even a known brand, let along the best in scar gels. That puts my trust in the brand and this product down quite a bit. I still keep an open mind, but I’m not reassured and it’s disappointing to think if you have any problems or side-effects that you can’t even get in touch with them based on this. The only plus is that on the side of the packaging is a white label which gives you the manufacturing address in Shenzhen, and an email address.Furthermore, the one before and after photo they use of a woman’s face is clearly not genuine. It’s so obviously the exact same photo in the before and after that I don’t think anyone could be fooled by it. This further knocks my confidence and trust in the brand and product.Given how often you’re recommended to apply this, and the number of months you’d need to be using it for new and especially old scars before you might see any improvement, it seems highly unlikely one little 30ml bottle would be enough. If the area is tiny you might get away with it by using very small amounts each time, but otherwise, I imagine this could get pretty pricey.I sent an email to the brand to ask if they have any information on testing or the claims they make to reassure me of its efficacy and, most importantly, of its safety. Unfortunately I’m yet to hear back from them, which doesn’t bode well.I’m afraid I just don’t really trust the brand or the product, which is really disappointing.Overall -All in all, I might try to use more of this to see if it makes any difference to my skin now that I have it, but I’m not sure. I don’t think I would risk buying this knowing what I do now because you need to be careful what you’re putting on your face and there just isn’t the trust and reassurance in this brand or the product from anything I’ve seen so far. I’m not saying it’s necessarily dangerous or anything, but if it’s not effective then at best it could just be a waste of quite a lot of money because it’s not cheap. With no real testimonials, brand mentions on trustworthy sites or even mentions on any other site, I don’t feel comfortable recommending the brand, and the discrepancies between the description and packaging alongside the lack of information on ingredients and testing mean I can’t in good faith recommend the product to anyone at this point. Do your skin a favour and instead invest in something that is trustworthy, discloses all ingredients and has been appropriately tested.

Appears to be working
I have several large scars on my body after several operations the most obvious one on my ankle running up my leg which is always red and angry looking even after 10yrs I started using this gel several weeks ago and already can see a vast improvement in the texture and appearance of my scarring the scare on my ankle is less red and feels much softer I’m sure by the summer it’s going to be much less noticeable as are my other scars it’s easy to use in a pump dispenser definitely worth a try I have tried other well known oils but this has proven to be the best one for me would recommend

I was really optimistic and hopeful for this scar gel, But unfortunately it didn't have any effect or improve my scars. Would not buy again or recommend to others based on this.
