Catechist Review from St Mary's in Tampa
This is the best short version of the Catechism of the Catholic Church that I have reviewed. It is excellent for Catholics and Returning Catholics as quick reference and at least minimum "Need to Know." about Catholicism.

GOOD FOR RCIA USE!
As a Certified Catechist, I would rate this with 4 stars. This year, I have a combined Adult Faith Formation and RCIA class, and we used this book WITH the Catechism Workbook that is also available (I highly recommend using the Workbook WITH the Handbook!) The Handbook itself is an easy read. Each chapter can be read in about 20-30 minutes. The Workbook consists of 25 multiple choice questions for each chapter. Catholics well versed in the faith might find the book a little too basic, but many "cradle Catholics" in my class said they learned a lot from it. There are 12 chapters which makes it perfect for a 12-week series. I highly recommend it!

A brief guid to the Catechism of the Catholic Church
This handbook does a good job of taking the post-Vatican II Catechism and outlining it. This small book is user friendly and provides more then just a summary of the Catechism. Father Lukefahr actually explains difficult areas and highlights what he feels are important areas. This is an ideal book for review of the Catechism or as a primer. The sections in this small book are referenced back to the correct section of the Modern Catholic Church Catechism book. It is a quick way of reading some of the doctrine that was changed after 1900 years.

Not a Bad Little Handbook
For young people or those new to the Catholic faith. This book is clear, concise, and easy to read. It is an excellent introduction to Catholic theology, designed for membership training.I didn't give it five stars because there was nothing in the book that was new to me. If you are interested in knowing more about the Catholic church I suggest that you purchase an actual Catholic Catechism rather than the simplified, condensed version.

The Catechism Handbook
Book content was fine but the book had been spoilt by freehand underlining all though the book which made it difficult to read. I would not say that it was in very good condition.
