READ THIS FIRST!!! This product is exactly as it's described, BUT... they don't tell you that UNLIKE other ipads/iPhone screen replacements , the ipad air 2 has a glass replacement that is fused to the digitizer. I have done over 20 home repairs on 7 different devices, so i figured I could make this work - i was wrong! So, my ipad screen is cracked, and I am unable to use this product to fix it , as I need special equipment that is not included in this product. They need to let people know that you need special repair equipment to actually fix a cracked screen on ipad air 2!

Purchased this kit never having replaced an iPad screen of any kind and I was so thrilled with the results! The kit included all the tools I needed - I only had to add my blow drier to heat the old glass up for removal. The tools were sturdy and well made, they held up for the job nicely and I liked that there was a selection of tools so I could alternate when needed. I had no problem attaching the cables or placing the lcd & glass into place. I did take my time and did not rush through the replacement so it took me two hours from start to finish, but absolutely worth it!! Would buy this replacement kit again if needed!

I was completely satisfied with this. It includes everything needed to replace a cracked ipad screen. All of the tools that were included were vital to the repair. Also as a bonuse I have used about half of them on other DIY fixes. Highly recommend.

Wow! This was the first time I repaired a broken screen but the second time for the iPad. This screen was better than the local “repair your electronics screen” place. I watched some short videos on YouTube about replacing the screen and digitizer...the kit had everything needed except for a polishing cloth. Wearing gloves would have helped with the need for the cloth. It was a smooth process - but watch the videos. The kit made the process smooth.

Great product and tools worked fine, although the preinstalled adhesive should have been thicker in order to reach the iPad frame itself. I had to find some other tape, between 1/64" and 1/32" thick, to complete the repair properly.
