Pros:- the components are well made. The animals are all high quality, with no rough spots. The paint is perfectly coated and vibrant.- a good variety of activities! I love that the activity boards are double sided, and that there's a spot to color! And being able to thread the animals on a string is another enticing activity for a toddler (my almost 2.5 year old daughter loved that part a lot).- comes in a cardboard box that you can reuse for storage. It opens and closes nicely, so I recommend saving it!- the boards slide into place really smoothly and easily because the case is well made! It has some kind of a sturdy wooden backing and a plastic front and the boards easily fit between. Even my toddler could do it on her own. The boards are sturdy for cardboard. Of all the pieces, the boards will probably be the ones to break first, unfortunately. So we'll see how long it lasts, but I'm optimistic!No cons. I love this educational activity! It's a great way to learn patterns and animals and what their favorite foods are and how to match them to their favorite foods or even their tails. She was a little young for some of the activities, but I can't wait to see all the concepts click for her as we continue playing and she improves her skills.This captured my daughter's attention for a good 15 minutes before we cycled through the other two activities (coloring and threading the animals on the string). That's a long time in toddler time.

I got this for my nephew who needed some extra practice at home and he opened it immediately and began using it. This kit has everything you could think of in one box. The dry erase marker for the board, the animals for matching, and the cards have been the best for my nephew to work at home.

The animals are cute and are well made. The box says it is safe paint. I hope so. My main issue is the holder is. It needed because you can just lay the animals next to the picture and with such a small amount of cards you are done teaching in 5 minutes. The photo shows drawings on the board but it is blank. I don’t give my 2 year old markers to play with so this was a useless feature too. The string to thread the animals can be fun for eye and hand coordination . Just not enough education in the toy for me.

This cute matching game is well-made and engaging for toddlers and preschoolers. The 16 animal “beads” are colorful, a fun size for little hands to grasp, and will build child’s vocabulary while naming the animals. This versatile toy can be used for matching the animals to the pictures, stringing the animals like beads on a lacing string, sorting the animals by color, and even stacking them flat in a tower or upright in a short stack. The little animals can also be used in groups of 3 or more for activities asking which one does not belong (ex: “Which animal bead is NOT yellow?”) The 5 activity cards are sturdy, slide easily into the wooden holder, and further enhance matching skills. The toy is nicely packaged in its cardboard box and is small enough to be easily transported in a diaper bag or backpack. This toy is a great gift for a toddler or preschool-aged child.

Firstly, the durability and quality of the pieces in this game are really great. The wooden animal pieces are brightly colored and there are 16 animals! My 2.5 year old has learned so much from matching the animal to their skin/colors and she loves to doodle with the dry erase marker and string the animals on the string! This is an excellent game for hand eye coordination and fine motor skills because it takes practice to string them and the thinking that goes into matching is so good for our Littles. Love love this!!

This is very fun! I got the animal one but there are others you can get. Besides matching up animals (I tried to take a picture of it so you can see) you can try to string the animals together as a bracelet or something. I recommend this!
