I have used this socket - it is a well made precision thin walled spark plug adapter at a very reasonable price.One can spend a lot more - this one is very high quality at a very good price.

Just changed out my plugs on a 2008 BMW 535i and you MUST have this type of "thin walled" tool from "Kommen Tools." Fit, finish and function outstanding......did I mention it was cheaper than the Assenmacher Specialty "thin walled" socket also on Amazon? Yes I did!Should note that I ordered a filter cap removal tool from Assenmacher Specialty Tools and quality/fit was poor. Tool was returned. Reason I'm not a Assenmacher Specialty Tool fan not to mention they are usually more expensive.Don't think twice, if you have a 2008 BMW 535i or a BMW that requires a thin walled socket to change out spark plugs, order this from "Kommen Tools" ASAP!

I used this socket to change the plugs in a 2011 Nissan Sentra. The spark plug wells are narrow; however, this socket got the job done. The rubber insert to hold the plugs inside the socket is neat....I'm a tool nut. I think there is a range of Nissans that would require a tool such as this. Understand that regular 14mm sockets will not do for the 2011 Sentra to remove/install spark plugs as they are not a thin (small outside/overall diameter) enough socket. Remember to use the recommended torque specs when tightening your plugs down as well. I think the specs did not exceed 20ft-lbs for the Nissan but 18ft-lbs was tight enough. Happy fixing!!!

Not a lot you can say about a spark plug wrench, but this seems to be of better quality than about any other spark plug wrench I've ever had, and I've had quite a few.
