local shops wanted $100 to change two 10" scooter tires & balance. These spoons were sturdy (didn't bend) and did the job for me. I didn't use the rim protectors, as the clearance between the rim and tire was pretty small. Rim received very minor scratches as a result, but acceptable.

Nice durable construction. Used them to try changing mower 13X5.5 tires on 6 inch rims but without three hands was unsuccessful. I found a tire dealer who completed the task gratis. Stull a good product and will stay in my tool box.

So much easier and nicer using these spoons over a pry bar or screwdriver. The rounded edges help prevent pinching and puclncturing the tubes. The length gives plenty of leverage. I can get a mower tire off, repaired and back on again in a short amount of time. Glad I finally bought these.

The tire spoons are good it was a day late

Bought these along with a set of rim protectors and easily took off tires from my 18" rims. If you're careful and use the right tools and technique, these will work just fine.You need to spray soapy water to allow the tire to slide easily, you need to properly position the tire for dismounting and watch a few YouTube videos to have a better idea of what to NOT do.
