Very light weight material allows for easy put up, take down, storage, and won't add much additional weight on your vehicles hatch. Seems to be a one size fits all so adjustments and overall fit on your vehicle will vary. I installed on my 08 Vue which I'd guess is consider a mid sized crossover and found to have just a few inches of baggyness on the ground and a slightly loose fit overall. Still, making adjustments to how I tie it off should take up a lot of the slack but I won't expect a tight seal. (Looks similar to product pictures.) The room you get for privacy matters only by how far your hatch extends while being open. With my Vue I'm getting about a foot and half of room which is just enough to comfortably move around between the vehicle and the fabric which was just enough for me to easily stand and change clothes. Is a bit cumbersome and difficult to set up properly if you're in a rush so you'll need to take your time to figure out top from bottom when you start to install.Used for a few weekends and loved how well it covers and provides privacy. Did get rained on heavily during one of my trips and while it is not at all waterproof or resistant it kept blowing rain from getting into the back of car and thanks to the light weight fabric it was dry almost immediately. Would also like to mention the fabric did absolutely no harm to my cars paint!

I love almost everything about it, it is a neat tent but the materials feel cheap, rinky dink.

This is easy to set up and provides nice privacy and room to change and stow gear at the tailgate. However, after a few a few minutes the thread on the zipper started to come out so who knows how long it will last. FYI - this is very thin nylon (thinner than a windbreaker) and is best used in warm weather as it does not keep any heat it the way a 3 season tent would. This is purely for privacy and sun protection.

It was so much work to get on and off. I think the idea of tying off on the door handle is stupid, you can't open your doors. so I tied it to the inside on my seat. You have to take it on and off with every stop so it's super inconvenient. I got back from the first time I was going to use it on and couldn't return it. Now I'm stuck with this item that is super inconvenient and too much work to want to use. Ugh. It does not repackage nicely for storage, its just a mess. Good luck with that pain and hassle.

The product came in already with the edge loops frayed , and the item itself came in stained with some mysterious fluid. I honestly couldn’t have been more disappointed because my camping trip was ruined from constantly having to make sure this thing wouldn’t just rip open on me. Honestly worst quality which sucks because I wanted to like it I really did. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

I have two small kids and it’s really important that we can use our tailgate for many different functions. The tent works really well however, I found if you replace the rope with magnets it’s a lot easier to put up and take down. If this came with magnets, it would definitely be five stars for me.
