My favorite thing about this axe is that it keeps a sharp edge with little effort. (Smith’s Axe & Machete pull through sharpener is all I use on the axe - sharpening puck for the splitter.)I don’t use the splitter much; actually bought it by mistake, but it serves its purpose. For the cost it was definitely worth keeping in my shop.I use the axe all the time, mostly for splitting, store-bought wood bundles. The weight is perfect for me, it’s easy to swing and makes quick work of a wood bundle. It will split a big log and break it down into kindling. Before putting it away, I wipe it down, pull it through the sharpener 10 times in each direction, brush off the burrs, and it’s ready to go next time.I was skeptical of the handle. I originally wanted wood, but like I said, I bought the splitter by accident and liked the quality, but needed an axe. I live in the desert and this past summer it was 115° for too many days to remember. I won’t leave it out in the summer sun, but it otherwise has held up beyond my expectations.My only complaint is this: the edge guard that comes with it sucks. It was warped when I got it and it was lost soon after arrival. Not at all a big deal and barely worth mentioning, but nothings’s perfect, so it should be noted.I love this axe, use it all the time, going to buy another and think I’ll give a couple as gifts. Great tool, great quality, excellent value. And it keeps an edge!

i enjoy the green color, mine came with some blemishes looking like it was used, it is the perfect size heave enough for a short person as myself, if it were any heavier i.d probably would roll down the hill with haha, nice and steardy , it gets the job done well , i also like useing mine like a dumbell good exercise lol.

It's smaller than I expected but it will definitely do the job. It's very sharp so be careful when handling. It did not come with the rubber protective sheath for the pick end as described in the product description.

I moved to sc in aug of 23. Have a 1/4 acre of red clay. Had some grass growing and some bare spots the bigger spots used big pick ax this work great for the smaller spots. Its is heavy enough for this hard rde clay. Would buy another one ( hope this one never brakes) it is heavy duty for a little pick ax takes the weeds out fast to.

Nice over all axe. Came quickly. It is fairly comfortable to hold and swing, the handle is fiberglass and does keep vibrations down in hand when chopping. It weighs more than it looks which helps with splitting fire wood for camping. It came with a nice blade cover to be able to pack without damaging other items.

Snagged on sale with a promotion, for like $10. Wasn't expecting much at that price but I was wrong. It is actually a well made little hatchet, for what I use it for - just simple garden chops here and there. All one piece, handle is good, weight is good, came with a silicone safety cover and then a plastic locking safety cover to go over that. Impressed.

Nice item but thought would be like a swingng pick axe. This is a hand one for gardening or something. Trying to use to get a stump/bush out is tough.The steel part fallls down or just sticks at the top on a rubber handle.

Sharp and well balanced, ideal for multiple uses.

The media could not be loaded.  Es mi primera hacha por lo que quise probar de este estilo para hacer camping amateur es de buen manejo así mismo no trae la funda verde de plástico que se ve en la foto inicial solo viene con una goma que protege el filo de fabrica.A mi gusto el filo de Fábrica es bueno sin embargo se puede mejorar mucho más para fines prácticos y de bushcraft. Sugiero comprar una funda aquí mismo en Amazon de poliéster para cubrir su filo y se vea como la ultimas fotos (la funda de nylon la compré aparte) no viene incluida

Best gardening tool I ever owned.

My husband is impressed with how good this axe splits. Would recommend it for sure.
