I cannot call Organic Buckwheat Kasha Roasted a real buckwheat. Try Skviranka from Ukraine and you'll see the real one. I never tried american buckwheat before, but now I know why it's not popular here. It tastes badly, the structure is weird, becomes a gel. I don't recommend spending money on it. I threw it away. It's a waste of money.Try European buckwheat and you'll see a giant difference.

I appreciate this company but the buckwheat was a disappointment. This was my first try at American buckwheat (I’ve only ever had Russian brands) and I don’t think Americans understand how it’s supposed to be toasted. This cooked up mushy with some groats that didn’t cook and it left me with an upset stomach. Im disappointed cause I cannot eat it and Amazon doesn’t let me return food products.

I used to buy organic kasha from local Whole Foods. But they don't carry it anymore, so after doing a little online research I decided to try Be Still Farms Organic Buckwheat Kasha. Taste and texture pleasantly surprised me. I always roast the buckwheat before cooking, but even after that most of the time kasha turns out mushy. This one not only didn't get mushy but also was really delicious.

Gets mushy when cooked.

I ordered this buckwheat a few times. I appreciate that it is organic and grown in the USA. There is nothing better than locally grown foods. The only issue with this product is that it needs to be toasted more. It gets mushy when you boil it, which would not happen if was properly toasted. So in the end I had to switch to other brands.

This kasha turned to mush immediately and tasted terrible. I fed it to my dogs. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

Finally, this roasted buckwheat is light color, clean and great taste,unlike all other ones these days come so dark and overroasted to the burnt darkest state.so pleased to have received this unexpected satisfaction!
