Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent - Bible Study Book

This is a great study. I am doing it a second time

I haven't done a Beth Moore study in a while, but every time they rock my face off. This one is no exception. I think the title is a little deceiving. It wasn't what i expected. But it was exactly what i needed. Very well put together. Such good insight and wisdom. Tons of encouragement. Lots of scripture to dissect, which i love. It also forces you to be creative and poetic since it challenges you to rewrite each psalm you dissect in your own words. I thought i would have a hard time, but after taking 2 days to really study each psalm verse by verse, as she does, it really just flowed. So, so good.

Good study on the history of the feasts and the psalms of accent. Lots of ahha moments

Great Bible Study. Beth Moore always makes you think to get a clear understanding of what the Bible is teaching. The Psalms of Ascent explore the Psalms 120-134. Traveling Israelites sang these Psalms on the way to Jerusalem for the 3 great feasts they celebrated.. As a student I gained a new appreciation for the life of faith as a journey to a stronger fellowship and worship of God.

I am a leader of Women Bible studies in our church. We love Beth Moore studies. We generally take one week for a video and one to two weeks for each week's 5 day study. Why? Because we take the time to discuss each day and to allow input from all our members. We have just begun Stepping Up and it is being well received. I expect it will take us 6 months . I love the way Beth Moore presents her studies with deeper understanding through her deep research. She helps you grow in knowledge- Biblically, historically, and word meanings . Your mind and hearts are opened to new personal relevation and application.

Wow!!! I highly recommend this wonderful bible study. You learn about why Psalm 120-134 are called Psalm of Ascents. They were sung on the journey to Jerusalem. Just finished this woman's bible study yesterday. We met on Zoom once a week ;)

Beth offers some great insights to what the Israelites would have been experiencing as they made their way to Jerusalem for the Holy Feasts, and how the words of the Psalms are as relevant to us today as they were in the days that they were written.

Just finished this study at church and found it truly amazing. This book is great . Really makes you think and I've learnt so much through this study. Would definitely recommend this.

"Stepping up" is a not only a Bible Study but a journey we take with Beth Moore and other Bible Study group members for 6 weeks/7 weeks. The entire study is about learning to support and encourage each other as fellow Christians.

I am disappointed that there is a restriction on the number of books that I could order. I needed 31 but could only order 10 for my bible class. I went to other sources to purchase the remainder. Why is there a restriction?

Beth Moore is a passionate author and this is a great study for women. Challenging and heartfelt, a great aid for personal or group bible study. Highly recommended.
