The chairs are really nice, but when unpacking I noticed that the bases of both chairs were broken/ had pieces chipped off.

Very nice stool chairs. They are very comfortable and waterproof. Very easy to clean up. They were also east assembly. I put 1 together in 5 mins. Came as 3 pieces to put together. The kids love them and so do all the adults who’ve had a chance to try them.A slight flaw is that if you are on its highest seat setting and you try to get off (if your shorter like me), you can tip the chair over. So far this haven’t happened, but I’ve had a close call. They also don’t slide very well on the floor. So if kids are using them, you’re always having to push them up to the island so they are close enough to eat. You can’t move them when your sitting on them.But we still love them as they match our decor perfectly and the comfortability is amazing. As a mom, being waterproof is a must have feature. I would still recommend them 100%.

Easy assembly, aesthetic, sturdy and reasonable price. Shipped as promised and even heard from company to support assembly.

Only complaint is that one of my stools slightly squeaks as I swivel.Recommended solutions?

These are lovely bar stools, really nice quality and comfortable to sit on; the white faux leather looks classy and modern with the stitching and shape of the seat. The stools take the same amount of time to assemble as something like a swivel desk chair - and they feel robust once put together with a sturdy, stable base. The height is easily adjustable and the seat swivel feels nice and smooth. Very happy.Also, might be worth mentioning (in case it’s relevant to anyone) that while the height of the seat is adjustable, these are optimised to function as bar stools so they work well on a breakfast bar / kitchen island but wouldn’t work at a dinning table or desk because the seats would be too high, even in the lowest position.
