Very pretty dress, but I wear a size 6, ordered a size 8 and it was still too small.

LOVE! This dress is so beautifully made!A little back story.Before you order, make sure you look at the size chart.I ordered a the Ivory size 16, but KNOWING I would have to alter it to make it bigger BECAUSE I was in love with this dress and the next size up was unavailable for amazon prime. We last minute decided to get married and so I only had 3 weeks.I am 5’4 and 205 lbs. I normally wear a 14/16 in clothes. The size 16 did not fit , but judging by the size chart the 18 would have fit perfectly. The sleeves weren’t too tight (I was concerned because it’s lace it would be).I took it to a seamstress. She had to add some fabric to the back. I was not very thrilled with what she did, so last minute I decided to fix it myself. I’m no seamstress and I don’t sew. But I fixed it the best I could , by adding some silk ribbon to make it look like a faux corset tie back.If I would of had more time, I would have ordered the 18 but it is what it is and either way I ended up happy and had a beautiful day!Besides the altering, I just honestly loved every part of this dress. I loved where it fell on me, the sleeves, the chest, the material. It is a lovely dress.

It was small for me, the size runs small

Let me start by saying I read every review and looked at the pictures and measurements closely. Being that there were mixed reviews, I took a chance and ordered it. I’m glad I did, it’s just gorgeous! The lace is beautiful and it doesn’t look or feel cheap in anyway. I was measuring in between a size 8 and 10, so I ordered the 10 and it fit great, I’ll just have to tape up my chest for a better fit. My only negative would be is that it is more white to me then ivory, but I still love it! If you’re considering this dress, you won’t be disappointed and the measurements are on point!

The bust measurements are not accurate. Not even close. High quality dress. Perfect for size C or less.

Overall the dress is very nice, good value and doesn't look cheap. However the lace top, sleeves and back are not forgiving. Every time I moved my arms, the zipper would split open because the lace is hard like plastic. I couldnt get another size without everything else (length, waist, bust) being too big. I bought a size larger (I'm 8 but bought 10) hoping it would work. I don't have a wide back and am proportional so I do not have suggestions on how this could work for someone.

This dress is beautiful and well made. Just runs very small. I ordered 2 sizes up and couldn’t even zip it up. I ultimately returned it. The only reason I didn’t get another size was I decided it was too much dress to pack. I needed something a little less full.
