This thing is truly amazing. It's portable, easy to fold and fit in your diaper bag, any bag you're carrying stuff in really, etc. It comes in a little black bag w a tie. Lays nicely on toilets and is kinda large of a placement compared to other pottys. Cute little owl, too. We got the blue one. I'm so glad I found this product. My son is just started getting the hang of potty training, but it's w specific pottys and not just being held hovering over a toilet seat in a gross public bathroom. He had to use the potty at home depot this last week and couldn't pee hovering bc no way would I ever allow him to put his hands on the toilet seat to hold himself, I don't even like that at my own home w a clean toilet. Just makes me sick thinking about him touching those germs and more 🤮. Plus public toilets don't have lids 99.9% and flushing toilets w the lid up is absolutely disgusting. Youtube what it looks like when you flush your toilet w no lid and what happens to your counters, toothbrush, etc. Repulsive really. Everyone should be putting the lid up and then down when done. Anyway, enough of my neurotic thoughts about that lol. But so in the end, he peed his pants bc he couldn't go. If I had this product then it would have been easier to manage a public bathroom w a 2 yr old. Oh, and side note, I also got large toilet liners w kids print on them, they're cute. You put that down and it covers the whole toilet really so if they need to put their hands on the edge to hold on, it's on covered liners and not nasty uncleaned public toilet. Now w this product (and the liners) I feel 100% confident and comfortable when we're out again and the time comes that he needs to use the toilet that we are very prepared for a smooth execution.

This is so convenient, it travels well, it fits in our diaper bag, it's washable, it makes a toilet seem less intimidating to a tiny person, I could go on and on. Although it folds, it is VERY sturdy when unfolded and put into place. I purchased this in addition to XL seat covers because it seems that inevitably, where ever we go, seat covers are not restocked!! And the seat covers add extra piece of mind that your cute little folding potty cover will not be exposed to whatever germs are left on the toilet seat. It comes with a sturdy plastic carrying bag as well, so you can put it in there after use and wash it once you get home or it won't contaminate the rest of your belongings when you throw it in your diaper bag. It works on the airplane as well! I think my problem is that I need to carry a larger purse so this will conveniently fit in it vs carrying around an extra diaper bag where ever we go (I carry a small purse)! This makes a great gift for the potty training toddler because it's not something that every mom would know they need.

My husband didn't believe it was worth it until our 3-year-old flipped out sitting in a public restroom toilet worried that he would fall in. Our son weighs about 34 pounds and we've been using it for about six months. Really, the Gimars seat makes any toilet seat more toddler friendly. We store it in what was once his diaper bag but it's easy enough to throw in any bag. I wash mine with soap and wipe it down frequently with Clorox wipes. While we could easily use OXO Tot 2-in-1 Go Potty for Travel - Gray on public restroom toilets, the Gimars is more compact so we save the Oxo Tot for a stand-alone potty in the car. The Gimars seat folds up really compactly into plastic inner storage bag and a carry bag.My husband lost both the inner storage bag and the carry bag and I contacted Gimars customer service and they sent me one RIGHT AWAY. The customer service was excellent for a $14.99 product.

Fantastic product. I had those thick, padded potty seats with the handles and removable plastic padding for a long time. I don't like that they are pee catchers, and to be honest a toddler just learning to use the toilet is going to have a hard time slipping his buns on to a sliding seat. I got this because it looked like it wouldn't slide around, it would fit my elongated toilet (just like the picture), and I could take it with me easily. A solution to three problems at once.And it works great for those things. It doesn't slide around (silicone stoppers underneath), the top of this seat is easy to clean, easy for my little monster to slide his buns on to, and it doesn't have a reservoir full of urine when he's done. Great all around - especially for little boys learning to aim, they need that extra space in front. It wipes down easily, the seams do not pinch, and the seat does not unfold on its own - the hinges are rather stiff and gummy, which is a fantastic feature.The only reason I knocked off a star is that underneath the seat is kind of this waffled bit of plastic, lots of nooks and crannies to try and clean into. If the company had made this as smooth and easy to clean as the top then I would buy this product en masse and send it to every friend potty training a toddler.Otherwise, I love this and want one for each toilet in the house. Easy to fold up and take with us, easy to use, and aside from the flaw I mentioned above, I can't think of another way to perfect this item.

Fantastic product for potty training and travel. Sturdy, non-slip, and kid friendly design. It is light and folds up small for travel. Easily fits into a diaper bag or purse. The smooth top side is easy to wipe clean, the bottom has more grooves. Would highly recommend for potty training. We've used it on many different toilet styles/sizes while traveling and it so far has fit on all toilets well.
