Great insurance for your rims
Good protection against rim damage, especially when tackling technical, rocky terrain.I love that the packaging doubles as a quirky/cool mud guard. Makes it a double value.I would give it a 1/2 star down grade because the install was not as easy as promised. It had to wrestle with it a bit and then getting the bead to seal and hold air took a numerous attempts (even using an air compressor). Maybe this was just a problem with my rim-tire combination (Maxxis High Roller II & DT Swiss E1900 Spline).Pro-tip: I finally got the bead to seal by laying the wheel horizontal on the floor while using an air compressor.

Smoother/safer ride
I’m using it for my XC bike Scott 710 27.5 with 2.3 conti’s MK tires and wait for it... my internal rims width is 20mm and everything is perfect the sound of the tires churning on ty loos gravel changed is quieter and much more supple. I’m running slightly lower air pressure and I will dare to say Huck Norris is keeping my tires tighter on the rims cause they are not even close to being wobbly. That’s perfect!

Not bad for what it is
Good overall product at the end of the day it will s almond at the same as a flattens $3 pool noodle but so are most other rim protectors and they cost a lot more plus try to use fancy terms to make you feel good about paying more. These do the job and are one of the cheaper versions on the market. I bought because the plus sized tires I had where having trouble seating on rim. I put these in no issue. I had a bad flat about a month after installing and rolled the last 3/4 of a mile to trail head on just these with no rim damage or tire roll off.

Good and affordable
excellent light weight matereal that doesn't soak up too much sealant (or any, it just gets coated on the surface so I had to add a bit more than usual). I got a slash in the rear tire and it protected the rim as it should have. Also, I hit a sharp curb and didn't hear/feel the rim strike which was great. Best affordable rim protector so far!

I love these inserts!
These inserts rock. They are lightweight and help to protect the rim and protect against pinch flats. I used to get pinch flats all the time, and not anymore.

No more tire burps - using them in three bikes
I have installed Huck Norris in three of my mountain bikes because I like them so much. I'm a heavy rider, and I was getting frequent rear tire burps in aggressive corners. These solved the problem with minimal weight increase. It's a truly one-size-fits-all as I have them in 26", 27.5/650b, and 29er wheels. You simply cut to the length needed. I have been using these for over a year, and I'm purchasing another pair for a new wheelset.

Huck Norris? More like Zack Norris.
I had these installed by a certified technician. Less than 200 miles later I could not stand the shimmy from both ends. I could only feel the mad wobbles from the Huck Norris over 6 mph. Hey are supposed to prevent hard hits and rim damage however, since I had them installed I have added 4 new taquitos to my rear wheel and 2 new up front. I ride med Enduro type riding on a 2018 Trek Slash. In my opinion if you are considering the Huck Norris- you might as well stuff a soiled diaper in both rims and Huck for the best.- seriously disappointed

Not worth the time to install for rim peotection
Easy to install but do virtually nothing to protect the rim.I even tried two in one tire.My rim and tire life have no improvents with these. The Velcro strap comes open in the first mile and causes the shimmy.I used safety wire and anchored the Velcro and the shimmy issue was resolved.I have a enduro route i get 1-2 rim dings everytime i run it.Installed this rim dings where no less, installed two into one tire and i had a slightly less rim ding depth. But took one good pop and rim still bent enough to loose seal. With CC inserts they are heavier but you def reduce rim dents.
