Bought do to all the positive reviews. We had a very different experience. The filling is soft alright, your head goes all the way down to the mattress and the filling goes to the ends of the pillow. I guess if you like feather pillows you might like this pillow. But if you like a pillow that lifts your head off the mattress I personally don't think you will like these pillows, neither my wife or I liked them at all. I don't like to write negative reviews but felt this might help someone like us who is looking for pillows that give your head some support. Tried to demonstrate with 5lb bag of flour but doesn't show to well.

Can't use them.....my head sinks down to bottom of mattress....and the encasing sounds like it's made of plastic....beautiful to look at, but can't sleep with the crunching noises....now what? Quality yes, but useable....no.

I don't understand how these pillows have such good reviews? Unless you're a stomach sleeper and do not need much support they do not offer any. I was excited to receive them after reading the reviews but was disappointed after I opened the vacuum package they come in and realized how flat they were. I gave it a few days hoping they would plump up-what you see in the picture is it, for the price I returned them.

I had already tried a vacuum – sealed set of pillows, only to find them to flat & lumpy.These pillows were so huge that I did not even take them out of the bag. I just sent them back.Listen to the one star reviews!

Love these pillows. They are soft and fluffy, and if flattened, fluff right back up when you move your head. Downside: they get "hot" and I have to turn it several times during the night to find a cool spot.
