solid cheap wi fi antenna not the greatest speeds but more than acceptable given my application, My service is 100mbps I have this on my pc in a guest bedroom on the other side of the house about 50 ft from router. router is in basement pc on first floor I get just over 30 down and 8-10 up most of the time with this adapter. This is a pretty handy little gizmo. First, it actually comes with the driver - extremely important because it's hard to go online and download the driver for a device to go online with. So that's a plus. It's small. and it does it's job well - I'm at the farthest point in my house from the AP and it worked quite well. I should point out that the antenna does not "rotate" as the one image states. It does swing out, as demonstrated in a later image, but you can't rotate it around the hinge. Also, that's a very nice price they're selling it for.The antenna is also the reason it loses a star. I had this installed on the back of a machine under my desk. I pulled the computer out to make a hardware change, and somehow the antenna got snagged on something (I have no idea what, or how). The cover over the antenna got pulled off, and the inside got broken off, and was only held together by a piece of heatshrink tubing. Needless to say, it's ability to receive a wifi signal pretty much ended right then. I've got a Netgear USB wifi unit that I've managed to bend at the USB connector twice, and it still functions as good as it ever did. So one star off for fragility.Now, if I could just find the other one -- I bought 2 and the second has disappeared...3 weeks later -- Found it. Stuck it in the PC and the second works as well as the first. Going to be more careful with this one...

I was looking for a way to boost the wi-fi signal at campgrounds and this helps boost my reception instead, plus at a fraction of the price. All I can say is that it worked. When I had sketchy on/off wi-fi at my camper, this made it a solid 1 bar that didn't drop off. So... did it make it 5 bars of amazing... NO. But it did take it from sketchy to solid, so I would imagine if you have 1 solid bar, it could give you 2-3 bars of speed. I will keep using as it is helping.

They worked just great. Able to get WiFi in basement of home with router on 1st floor.

Don't need drivers for some windows version operating system.Good to have the cd Drive with the package

this adapter came with a cd to install drivers but the format wasn't compatible with my desktop, fortunately my pc recognized the adapter with no problem. all you have to do once you plug it in is choose your wireless and enter the password. so far this adapter has a good quality on signal, haven't lost any signal at all and it also recognize my wifi extender which i am very impressed for what i paid for. some may say a dongle is better but trust me you want to have a better receiver and this does the job with no problem. i will update after a month and see if it does get bad as some reviews state in the meantime this is a thumps up.. go for it.Update: after using it for a week now, i can tell if you want the pc for downloading or streaming games or vides do not get this, get yourself a 5g on so speed is adecuate for your needs, i'm still happy with this since i only use it to surf the web and listen to music (which do not require a high speed)
