Simple to configure
Installed in minutes, programmed in minutes, working in minutes. Easy to use and it hasn't missed a beat since going into service a few weeks ago.

Instructions and website are the Achilles heel of this product
The installation was simple, it replaced an electronic timer that was near impossible to program. Remember that Line is your power to the switch. Load is whatever you're delivering power to. Neutral should be a white wire and ground is either green or bare.Website complaint: since the instructions were so tiny I hoped to follow the programming and Google linkup instructions on their website. One of their websites has nothing of value, another you have to choose English or German first. I chose English and went to instructions to integrate Google Home and program. The image with instructions is in German?! Ok, so I'll program it using the instructions. I get out my magnifying glass and attempt to set a daily program, useless. So let's just go through the steps on my phone. I pressed the icon for the switch and get to a program with 'open & close', why not call it off and on? In electrical terms open means off, and closed means on. Apparently not with this company. I tried both approaches and it never worked. Then somehow I backed out to where there was a Home button with Scenes (?) next to it. I opened it and programming was breeze. Using the open/close way is not intuitive at all and never worked. And as far as someone mentioning a help number, I never saw one.So how can this experience be improved? A: write instructions large enough so an aging population can read them. B: Provide a website that has detailed instructions in English. How hard is that?

Not Working!
I want to replace Smartthings light switch with Smart Switch. After connecting four wires to the switch, the switch was not working even no power light. I replaced this one with another Smart Switch (I bought two). It was still not working and no light. I used a voltmeter and measured all voltages within normal range. I put the old switch back in and working. I'll buy an Amazon brand switch next and post update.

Doesn't work with IFTTT!
Despite what the ad says, this does NOT work with IFTTT! I wrote to support and they wrote back:"The app developer Tuya Inc made some change, in previous time, the device can work with IFTTT directly, but now, they can only work in smart life app. You can set scene to achieve it on smart life app. If your other devices also work with smart life app, then you can set the condition in smart life app to control all the devices. We are sorry for the inconvenience." What a waste, not to mention deceptive advertising.
