Hyouka: The Complete Series - Part Two [Blu-ray]

...but a great finish as we get to the school festival and the denouement episodes. The Doll Festival and Valentines Day episodes are worth the price of admission alone, and the ultimate solution to the ABC Thief is heartbreakingly perfect.If you are a fan of slice of life and/or mystery anime and you haven't seen Hyouka, I definitely recommend picking up both halves of the series. It is quality in terms of animation, story, relationship drama, and cuteness.

I love this series, and specially the first 6 chapters of this set are the best of the hole series. Having both of them gives you a good slice of life / mystery anime.

Refreshing to watch.

Having watched the first part primarily on the strength of its visuals, the strength of the story and characters were very good surprises. I thought that the character development and character interactions were exceptional. Part two picks up right where the first part ends, and ties up the main mystery from the first part rather nicely. The second part felt a little lighter than the first half. I wasn't amazed by the ending, but I thought the more subtle approach worked very well with the rest of the story. I hope that someday we can see more of this anime! Highly recommended!

Great show... I would like to kno, tho: Funimation, how do you forget to seal one of the DVDs into the set!? I've got the Blu-Ray discs, both of them, but there was an empty spot where the second DVD version went. Where's episodes 12-18?

A story about four teenagers who meet after school to discuss problems and solve mysteries. INTERESTING and ORIGINAL. Main characters: an unmotivated intellectual and a high-spirited ditz. Themes: family, society, culture, the seasons of life, and how people remain elusive about their feelings of love for one another. Don't forget that the complete series consists of 23 episodes. This Blu-ray/DVD contains the last 11.

パート1でブルーレイの字幕が、消せないのが分かっていたのでDVD目当てで購入しました。画質は、ブルーレイ程ではありませんがそこそこ良いと思います。単品で販売していたら☆4つは付けたのに残念です。

以前にレンタルで借りて見て面白かったので今回購入しました。価格も国内版より安いのでお手頃です。

ブルーレイはPower DVD17で国コードを米国に変更すれば視聴できますが字幕は消せません。しかし、Any MP4プレーヤーを使用すると字幕は消せます。（但しメインメニューは再生しません。）
