A Comprehensive History of Toastmasters International in Great Britain and Ireland

As a Toastmaster and DTM, I enjoyed reading this compilation of D71/D91 data covering 50 years. Of course it will have little or no interest to non-Toastmasters but that is not the point of the book.The content is simply factual rather than containing lots of anecdotes. The presentation is basic with many fuzzy photographs and a simplistic layout but these do not detract from the actual content.I was surprised that EasySpeak is not covered since it performs vital functions for the clubs that use it.Overall I would certainly recommend this short book to members that want to learn the history of the events and the people that worked hard over all the years to build the districts. It may be worth investing in a copy for your Toastmasters club.Thanks to Ted and Teresa for compiling the book.
