Pipe Tools: Senior Pipe Reamer

So the package came in an amazing 2 days and I live in alaska, but when the package showed up the packaging was ripped open and the unit was missing. Now I don't know if some one open and took the tool or if it was opened buy the sorting machines at the post office ( the U.S. Post office said this some times happens) but when I contacted 4noggins the people that supplied me with the product, they responded right away and just sent me a new unit!! at no cost to me!! WOW right, customer service is everything to me. I am very loyal to good service and so I recommend that not only would I buy this tool I would make sure you buy from 4noggins. As I use the tool more and more with my pipe I will report on the tools long term performance with my pipes. As of now it performs very well.

I've wanted a Senior Tobacco Pipe Reamer for a long time. When my older, inexpensive reamer tool broke, I bought this. Not disappointed. There are no instructions, but as others have said, if you've been smoking a pipe for some time, the tool is easy to figure out. The heavy construction is well made, sturdy. The reamer itself is adjustable for most medium sized pipes, via the screw applicator on the end. There is also a basic stem reamer included inside the end, just screw it out to use, then return it to the tool for later use. This tool works well & quickly with little effort. Does a good job. Recommended

I believe this is considered the "Cadillac of pipe reamers? It works really well-it still it takes a careful had not to remove to much cake. I'd give it 5 stars but it's just a tad to small for a lot of pipes, it won't work on big bowls. and by big I mean the large-oversized type bowls. Works great on the standard sizes. It could not be easier to use-in fact it comes without instructions--just turn one way to expand and the other way to go smaller. I can't compare it to other reamers as it is the first reamer I have used-always used knives in the past. So I don't know if cheaper ones work as well--but this one will last forever-it's machined like a fine scientific instrument.

The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes based on reviews. I read them all. Negative too. One person had it right. It’s not very sharp nor designed properly. It does have an edge. What happens during use is that the humps of each arm rides the bowl instead of the cutting edge. You can tell by the char stacking up on that back side.To solve this i used a dremel tool and ground down the shoulders on all three arms. I also sharpened the cutting edge. It took time. I’m going to do more.Grinding down the shoulder at an angle away from the cutting edge makes it function much better

This tool is a precision built piece of kit. The blades are sharp in one direction dull in the other. Perfect for cutting thick cake. Perfect for maintaining good cake. The shank tool is long and is built into the handle. I am glad I bought it. DO NOT BUY FROM "CT Power Tools" THEY DID NOT SHIP WHEN THEY SAID, AND WHEN THEY DID IT WAS 5 DAYS LATER. THEIR RESPONSES TO QUERIES WERE OBTUSE. POOR, POOR, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Great tool. Cleans out pipes very well. I do recommend this product.

Fell apart immediately

In all honesty, I haven't had the need to use this yet. I bought it to be prepared for when I will eventually need it. I've "played" with it to get a feel for how it works & I must say that it looks like it would do a quality job. It has a nice weight to it that makes it feel like a well-made tool.
