A lot of people will complain how this iteration of the Air Jordan 1 is just a mashup of history and hype. The main issue is the combination of the original "Air Jordan" words with the non-existent in the 1980's Jumpman logo. However, if you like the shoe, don't let sneakerhead purists use history ruin your taste.The shoe comes in a black combination of synthetic pebbled leather on the upper panels and a thin-cut leather on the inner panels, as well as grey mesh underlays. They also come with black laces, but there are no additional sets of laces. The all-white outsole gives it a clean look, contrasting how quickly they get dirty, but a few swipes of the toothbrush will effortlessly get any mess of the bottom of the shoe. They are also accented by a black embossed Jumpman logo on the heel and a red leather swoosh, as well as removable Jumpman and "Rare Air" patches for the tongue, attached by Velcro. A very cool feature in my opinion.The cushion is exactly what you'd expect from a 30 year old shoe: stiff and unforgiving. Even so, after breaking them in over 4-5 wears, they feel more tolerable, and the initial pinching you'll feel in your pinky toe will subside. There is an Air Sole unit in the back, and while being unsubstantial, it can be felt. The high top heel will also be difficult to forgive unless you're used to this cut of shoe. Moreover, an internal heel counter is present, but there is no midfoot shank.They fit half a size big, so keep that in mind when picking up a pair of 30th anniversary Air Jordan 1s Rare Air in the red, black, and white colorway. And, like any shoe of this design, they will crease in the toebox area, but it honestly only helps to give the shoe more of a retro feel.

i was initially skeptical because i had heard that jordans ordered on amazon were sometimes not authentic. mine were sold by MegaKicks, and they had really good reviews so i decided to go ahead & do it. well, they came super quick & i'm very pleased & relieved to say they are indeed the real deal. fit, quality, & craftsmanship was just like my other jordans. best part is i got'em for $100 when they were actually $140 in foot locker! well satisfied 👍👍

Having 6 other pairs of the retro 1 Jordan's I felt quite comfortable knowing how it would fit. Size wise its perfect does run true to size, however the only issue was the area where the tounge attaches at the base if the laces. Put them on and drove to work my feet were numb since it was a tight fit. I figured one of two things the leather wasn't yet broken in and thus was tight or the laces were not loosened enough. So I went half the work day before I took off one shoe and pulled the laces and it seemed to do it the other just naturally stop bothering. After a full day at work got home they felt like any other of my shoes. But everyone will notice, the royal blue does stand out in a blan canvass of greys, whites, and blacks hues on the ground. Definitely will get a lot of remarks and compliments so be ready to talk to people.

They are hard to get on and off but they look good.

These shoes are one of a kind. The Orange is the best out of the three. The tumble leather is soft and plush in the synthetic leather is still high quality. They live up to the Jordan name as far as build quality and endurance. I keep them in rotation with other shoes to clean them regularly but when I do clean them they're easy to do so. Light weight, comfortable, then we'll worth the purchase at $100. One of the companies better retro silhouettes. An orange has more of a orange soda color. Which works for me.

Yeah i didn't buy the original J1 colors which is something i will do b/c hey... it's J1s and i remember watched MJ dominate the game of basketball back when basketball was basketball in the 90s. Even though I'm not 6ft 6inches, can dunk from the free-throw line, palm a basketball, and etc basketball related. MJ will ALWAYS be the GOAT in my book for his era of basketball.Regardless if you wear J1s for style points or use them in a real basketball game. Any basketball fan will recognize these shoes.

These are fake! The quality is garbage. The weight is off, the box is smaller than real Jordan boxes and they didn't even come with sneaker inserts like real ones do. I'm super angry about this! These aren't even sought after retros. This company should be ashamed of themselves. Total garbage.

Bought these for my fiancé. He’s always usually hard to shop for because he’s into very select styles, designs. Etc. but once I saw these I knew I had to get them.The color combo is perfect for a low key style that’s not screaming at attention. They fit perfect for his size 12 feet!
