Manufacturer says door primed ready to paint but the grids are vinyl. Using their recommended acrylic latex based but it will not adhere to the vinyl and peels off easily. A high adhesion primer is necessary to get the paint to bond to this vinyl grid. Lots of sloppy adhesive around the grids need removed by razor blade before starting prep work. Interior grid is screwed on and can be removed but the exterior is bonded to the glass. Door arrived in good shape despite minimal packaging. Would give 5 stars if not for the extra work involved.

I really love this door and it was worth the 4 weeks waiting time from ordering to delivery date. I had a window in this room and this French door was installed to replace the window to exit outside to a future deck.Because it was pre-hung, we had no trouble installing it once the rough opening was cut out.It also came primed in white, so there was no need to paint it, unless you want a different color. For me, I wanted white. After the installation, I just added the door handle/lock and the job was complete!The door was also delivered exactly on time, just as Amazon said it would be.

Door came right on time. The package was very snug and sitting on a crate. Absolutely no damage upon arrival. Door fit almost perfect! The only spot that challenged us a bit was the lower left side. We had to do quite a lot of shimmy-ing to get the door to shut fully. The door is heavy- definitely requires more then one person to install. Make sure you have all your extras such as caulking, shimmy sticks, foam to fill in any gaps and the right tools.

Having never ordered a door online, I wasn't sure what to expect. The door was well packaged and arrived in good shape. Dimensionally I am not sure what to say. I thought it was supposed to be the same size as the door it was replacing. I ended up with a gap at the top. After alot of head scratching, we installed it with no problem. Just added trim and now it looks fine. I went with a 5 rating assuming I was wrong about the door height.

Door is ok, but the interior side of the door has screw holes that are exposed. Can’t find their customer service contact info for help.

I bought this door because of the free shipping to my house and the price point. Home depot had a similar door for sale for $80 more and it was an in store pick up only.This door looked good at first, but I noticed a finish staple that was poking through. Quality Control missed this.Main issue for the 2 stars is because the door latch on door and the frame, did not match up. They were 1/2'' off. When I put the knob on, the door wouldn't shut due to being too low. So, I had to customize it a bit and luckily there was enough meat on the top for the screw to hold on to.This is unacceptable.And to top it all off, the two long securing screws that normally come with the door, did not come with the door. Pretty crappy experience.I think next time I will spend the $80 more and go to my local hardware store.Besides all this, I really like the door!
