This is a much better quality lav system than our last setup. My biggest complaint is that the lav mic did not come with the screwable cap to securely mount to the belt pack. The picture on Rode's website shows it should have one, but our did not come with one. I also don't understand why I can't find a replacement anywhere for this lav mic if I wanted to buy a second one. All I can find are the $60+ Smartlavs for mobile phones. You should be able to buy a replacement mic even from Rode (not found on their website). Disappointing.

The mic is awesome and the case is very well made! Plus recharable batteries. What’s not to love? Pleasantly surprised the kit arrived much faster than expected.
