This is not obviously suitable for moving bikes, because the cup holder is large and rigid, with no way to secure the bottle or cup.It is however quite ideal for exercise bikes and, in my case, for securing it to a stand pillar while working or making music.It does save space while keeping bottles and cups at hand and safe.While it does cost a few pounds more of similar contraptions I tried, the grip is very solid.The ring has a captive screw which slides out, making it easy to open and close.A rubber strip is also provided which makes it truly stable.Likewise, the cup attachment rotates 360 degrees, so it is suitable for mounting on bars which are not perfectly horizontal of vertical, because the cup can be set to keep the content straight.Once locked (with a provided allen key) the cup will not rotate at all and feels very solid.I think it can take quite a bit of vibrations without moving, and frankly I wish that some of the accessories I have for my actual bike would grip this hard too.

the holder has the capacity to accept thermal mugs as shown in the photo, it will accept standard @cans@ and pop bottles too, the fitting that goes round the handle bars has a nice solid adjuster, the holder comes with a serrated rubber strip so the strip can be wrapped round the "bar" so that the holder will fit onto smaller bars or without the rubber strip it fits onto larger bars. i have been out with the holder fitted , it has stayed secure and the drinks mugs in it has stayed in place. So far i am very happy with it.

I didn’t get this for a bike but for my main PC desk, I have mounted it to one of my monitor arms and it works perfectly. The quality of this cup holder is of a very high standard and exactly what I would expect for the price. It was really easy to install and now I have a really cool coffee mug holder which helps reduce clutter on my desk.Overall, I’m really happy with this cup holder and would recommend it.

What a cool bit of kit, I love it. The build quality is amazing and it is super easy to fit, the holder keeps drinks, even open-topped drinks fairly stable.I do a lot of cycling with my camping gear and things like a drinks holder is really important, getting the right one is even better.

I don't have a Peleton bike, as I prefer the experience and social aspect of Zwift. However, I needed a front-mounted bottle holder for my bike, and this fits perfectly. The fixing bracket is excellent and will fit most frames universally (thinner frames will need extra rubber spacers, or some extra bar tape would do). The drinks holder fits a standard sports bottle or a mug of tea - my drink of choice when on a slow group ride. :)Highly recommended!

First impression:👀 This cup holder comes in black plastic with a separate clip that you assemble to secure the cup holder to a suitable mounting point depending on what use you are going to put it to. There is a hex key provided to put it together. The clamp itself is easy release via a thumb screw, but once in place it should need little further adjustment although I did have to give it a tighten after a few uses.What I liked:✔️ The clamp has serrations that provide a firm joint and alignment once the hex screw is tightened into place. Make sure it is good and tight because it did come loose on me. You can put it at most angles although the serrations do limit you to 15-degree increments as there are 24 teeth.✔️ The cup part has a slot in the side and this might be useful to me if I use it to hold some smaller items such as a guitar slide – I use this on my music stand. I can see what is inside and reach it to get anything I put in there. For a water bottle it means the cup has a little flexibility and is easier to clean out if required.Anything I didn’t like so much:❌ The rubber grip part is separate and a little fiddly to get into place. It could do with dome double sided tape to hold it in place before you tighten the clamp.❌ I am not sure how substantial the cup is if you fill your water bottle with a litre of water and engage in some furious pedalling on the exercise bike. I think it might move around a bit unless your bike is very substantial.Conclusion:✅ I used this as a cup holder on my music stand and it worked very well. The bracket was just enough to grip onto the tube of the stand, although my stand is substantial and the tube quite thick – approaching that of a bike frame. I can then use it to hold my water bottle and it is then in reach if I need to have a quick drink and clear my throat. I don’t have an exercise bike as I threw mine out years ago, but for other purposes it is great. I use this at almost every gig now! It’s perfect on a mic stand and very strong! Can be adjusted to fit most stands I would imagine and the price is great! 10/10

I have a recumbent bike that needed a drink holder. Fortunately this works great. It is durable. Easy to assemble. Flexible to work on any styles. Would buy again

This is my second order from CD (CyclingDeal) and i must say they do make quality items.Looks sturdy and durable. Seems to be made of ABS. Love the design and simplicity.The cup holder has a cut out to place a vessel with a handle. The holder is deep and wide which would accept most products.The mechanism is simple. Just attach the mounting clamp to any round bar and let the cup adjust via the ratchet. It can spin 360° so the tray will be accessible wherever you put the clamp.The quick release mounting clamp is very easy to use and clamps on well.The only drawback i see is that every time you have to move the whole thing or adjust the cup holder, you need the allen wrench. Wish they could figure out a way to do away with this and incorporate something that doesn’t need to be dependent on something external.Overall, something needed with a stationary bike.
