This is an amazing blind for the price, durable, very nice looking, very easy to install and complete black out that we were looking for, you won’t be disappointed, oh and mounted above the window nicely.

Ive been looking for a good blackout window shade for the double window in our bedroom. The window is 70" wide on the outside of the window frame, and I got the 73" curtain. The curtain itself is more like 72" but the mounting hardware reaches 73" across. They included a clear plastic measuring tape, which I taped up to help with installation. It was possible to install with one person, but would have been a bit easier with two. The included drywall anchors are a bit flimsy and the first one bent, but luckily I had a spare.We have tried eclipse curtains, in the past but white ones still let in light. I installed this roller shade and wow, it works. I've included a picture with the lights off, and with daylight outside you can see just the tiniest bit of light on the side. At night, you can't see any light coming in at all. I imagine that mounting it backwards so it rolls under and fits even closer to the wall would eliminate even that sliver of light, but I like the look as it is.I will say that the chain does not necessarily move the shade super smoothly. But, the window shade seems sturdy enough, especially for the price. I'll update if anything changes but I am quite happy with this for now.

Good quality blinds. Keeps sunlight out for a glare-free rooms where LCDs are present. Sleek-clean look and feel.

First off the plastic clear ruler was off. More importantly as you can see, this bind has poor construction where a 70” blind is sagging at the middle and/or is bent. Because of this, when you lower and raise shade, it bangs against the wall and you can clearly see the bend and distortion

I seldom leave reviews, unless really impressed. Our blind was just installed, but I'm very hopeful. We have pull cord blinds in other areas of the house which are custom made. The feel of the materials used in the blackout blind feel substantial, and that it will hold up. Installing was very forgiving since the main rod, which the fabric is attached to, is actually wider than the blind material. This makes it very customizable.We used a hack saw to cut the thin main metal rod, which the end brackets go inside of on both ends, to the "exact" window width we needed. We purchased the 72 inch wide, and we only needed to cut the main rod one quarter inch shorter for the blind to snap into place. The prong on the left side plunges in nicely, and pops out into the hole in the bracket perfectly. If cutting the rod down in size, do a little at a time, and try to gradually get it to fit snuggly. We even turned our fabric around, since it's in an upstairs bedroom window, and we wanted to see the textured side in our room. Very customizable for a large 71 3/4 inch wide by 3 foot high window!
