We have a muddy back yard when it rains so our pups have baths pretty often in winter. This shampoo is gentle, nondrying, lathers great and smells great! I'm allergic to fragrances and have sensitive skin but no problems using this shampoo. And the fact that it's a bar shampoo is more economical and saves me from having another plastic bottle in myhome.

I never heard of bar soap for dogs until I came across this on Amazon prime. I'm so glad I did!It has a light scent and worked great on both my dogs. For reference I have 2 very different dogs. A short haired dachshund/Chihuahua and a long haired sheep dog.It was very easy to work up a lather and wash the dogs, I found I personally like the bar soap better, with the liquid soap I tend to overuse it.The soap was easily rinsed off and the dogs were fine after their baths.I plan to purchase the whitening bar soap in the near future.

It gets the job done. Easy to lather and rinse. First use my toy poodle's coat was clean, soft, and healthy looking/shiny. Other products had his hair looking dried out but not this. The scent is very light but smells good. I use the Palmer's conditioner afterwards.

I have a white dog who decided he was going to burrow into dirt like a hog wallowing. He went into the shower and I soaped him down. It lathered up nicely. It rinses clean and when I'm dealing with a bull terrier/lab mix who hates water...quick is the name of the game. Everyone who has seen him said the same thing, wow, I never knew he was that white! He looks and smells amazing!

I'm a professional groomer and thought it might be good to get rid of bottle waste. Unfortunately, trying to use these on a big dog seemed a waste of time and energy for me. It works okay on little dogs. I just wanted more lather. It falls out of your hand a lot, just because it turns slippery obviously. Would not be able to replace liquid soap with how many dogs I do a day.Good product for those smaller pups.

I use this on my year old black lab and the last bath she had dried her out terribly. This bath it's been 3 days she still looks really good and is not dry at all No dry skin really good shampoo got her thoroughly clean. The bonus of this bar shampoo was that it was super easy to use no dropping the bottle no trying to squish the bottle It was fabulous

Almost a year later of using the 3 bars. We have really been happy with the dog soap bar. We are using the last bar.Our dog’s fur is always fluffy after she dries just like any other soap.It takes a little getting use to use as you have to build up a lather first.Rinsing is a breeze! Comes out very fast reducing the amount of water to rinse, as well as drying her timing.Reducing plastic waste is something we are very happy about as well.

I have used the lavender scented shampoo bar to wash my dog 3 times. At first, I thought that it left a residue, but after I dried my dog his hair was clean and fluffy. (I have a yorkie mix and he has very fine hair so I also use an unscented conditioner by another brand. If this brand makes conditioner too, I will switch.) I only noticed the scent when I was washing him. It didn't irritate or dry out his skin.To use the shampoo bar, I lathered it in my hands and applied it to my wet dog. It was easy. I think that you get more milage this way instead of applying the bar directly to the hair because you need so little product. The shampoo bar looks barely used.In the past I used other liquid products that didn't suds as well and I had to use a lot. I think that this is more economical and less wasteful. I'm happy that I can reduce my plastic usage as well.I recommend this product, but if you have a yorkie or fine haired dog you might also need a conditioner.

This soap smells great and produces a nice thick lather that rinses out well. It feels that we get more baths out of a bar of soap than from bottles of liquid dog soap. The doggie smells fantastic for about a week after his bath. Appreciate the sustainable packaging.

I tried this straight away on my dirty white dog. It was so easy to work a lather up. I had expected to have to run it lots but it lathered very quickly and smelled nice and fresh too. Rinsing easily was an added bonus.Highly recommend

I am trying to get rid of plastic as much as possible so I tried this soap for the first time on my 10yo cockerpoo. I was not sure how his coat would be as I have always used a detangling shampoo due to his curly coat.This bar was easy to lather, smelt great and easy to rinse off and left his coat soft, smelling great and easy to groom.I would highly recommend, and no more plastic bottles!

Déjà bien plus pratique qu'un shampoing car ça ne coule pas, le savon mousse très bien, l'odeur est agréable,disparition des puces et un poil très doux et très longtemps. Très économique et vraiment pratique.J'ai deux chiennes et je ne les laverais plus avec un autre produit. Je recommande sans hésiter.10 sur 10.
