I got this bed for my cats and they love it. They love to all pile on it together and nap. It's great that it has a removeable, machine washable cover. The cover is a little hard to get on and off but it's doable and I can do it by myself without help. I really like the gray color and it's neutral enough to match my house. I'm happy with it and would get it again.

Ordered medium for my sons dog- a 26lb. pug who’s an overweight, stout and squatty ball of trouble! We are blessed with the “joy” of pug-watching when he leaves town.. and as much as I dread this, our tile and hardwood floors are just not inviting on pups overburdened joints + bones.This mat is shaped into a “glorified couch bed” by creating a rectangle shaped U. The entire gel insert is the real deal and human quality- just like a gel mattress topper on our bed!! It is the substance of the entire unit- it’s been cut/shaped to exact specifications which are easily covered by casing that arrives separately. Simple to slip on/off and that’s a perk. I’m allergic to dogs- and trust me pug hair gets everywhere.. so, I remove and wash every morning pup is here!Machine washable- it wash/dries without shrinkage and easily retains its shape. I do suggest zipping closed prior.. just to keep any loose strings from tangling in zipper track. Made of a durable material to handle dog feet and behaviors.. and washing rigor. Universal gray print helps it blend nicely with most decor.My advise is to actually visualize size of bed in feet. And do the same with the pup!! I chose 36”-med. and it sounded right at the time. (24” sounded too small!) only 3’x1.5’ is a lot bigger then anticipated.. Ha! I could easily fit 1.5 more pups inside and have plenty of room (but don’t tell my son that!!) Not to worry-as the king of dogs sleeps right smack in the middle on his back as he snores freely.. a dog only his owner could love.. ha!!Definitely higher price point at $72.. I’m guessing most of that cost is in the gel pad as it is human quality. Regardless, dog is happy as can be! Hoping this info helps your decision- stay safe everyone.

I know it seems a bit crazy to get the largest size for our dog that weighs just 27 pounds, but he has the proportions of a limousine--low to the ground and very long. He likes to spread out, especially when he is relaxing, and we thought that we should get the largest size here. We are glad we did, and he loves it.This "couch" is really just a dog bed with the poofy border attached to it. Still, that makes it unique from most of the beds he has owned, which do not have the raised border attached to them. He does use this border to lean against, and sometimes he rests his neck and chin on the edge of this couch.As far as comfort, this couch is definitely comfortable, as you would expect for a premium-quality item like this that sells for a premium price.My only minor complaints here relate to the "non-slip" backing, which could definitely be even better (it slips a bit), and the steep price. The largest size is presently $110.61. That's a lot of money!In spite of the couple of minor complaints, I think this couch is deserving of 5 stars. The quality is very good, and it seems like this should last a long time.

I got the largest sized bed.We are getting 3 kittens, and I know the kids will enjoy cuddling up with them while they are small.I go the biggest one so kittens and kids would have a safe place to snuggle and get to know each other.It took my 12 year old about 15 minutes to figure out and assemble all of the pieces all by herself.The cushion is thick, comes with a washable sheet liner to protect the foam.It is soft and seemed well made.

So we have a 7 year old beagle, and 7 month old beagle. The puppy likes to lay on beds and chew on them. He's gotten holes in a few of our old beds, and once that happens- fuzz everywhere. It's the best part of his day. I'm trying to replace some of the beds now, and thought this looked like a good option. It arrived well packed, with the bottom foam pad rolled up tight. Unrolled it, and put it in what appears to be a water resistant liner that came with it, then zipped it into the bed. Bottom cushion is about 2.5 inches thick.I like that it's easy on/off for the older dog without a wall on the front, but has good walls to curl up to in the corners on the other 3 sides. None of our other beds have a memory foam bottom, so it's a bit firmer than what the dogs are used to. However, that means it also is harder to chew on the bottom seams for the puppy. So far the older dog has used it quite a bit hanging out in the office with me on it. She seems to like it, she does try to dig in it a bit before laying down, and with the foam bottom there's no moving the stuffing around. That doesn't keep her from sleeping on it for hours at a time though. And so far the puppy has not chewed on it. As long as the dogs continue to like it and it doesn't fall apart or bust any seams, 5 stars here!
