Motion Pro 08-0007 16" Curved Tire Iron

I bought this to install my tires on my yz490 it's a good tool and it's sturdy

I have a '29 Packard with snap rings on 20" wheels and no tire store near me will touch the things. Bought one of these to help with the smaller spoons I have, and it works fantastic. Bang for buck this one is hard to beat, wish they made one in about a 24" length so you could get more leverage! Definitely would recommend buying one if you're changing your own tires. Major time and frustration saver for me.

Just what I needed.

I now use 2-3 of these for breaking beads, removing, and mounting touring tires. Be patient, use a lubricant, be patient some more, and the bead can be slid down w/two of these. Even the heavy wide rear tires on mondern HD are no issue. The regular, thin irons are still great to use but these Motion Pro irons are heavy and shaped just right to slide down beads.I hightly recommend you buy at least 2 of these and then you can laugh at all the time and money you save buy changing your tires at home.

Good feel, good quality, works wonderful, the only way it would work better is if you bought 2 of them, but I already have two straight spoon type tire irons, but I really like the shape and quality of this one🥳

In the context of motorcycle tire changes, Motion Pro tire irons, aka 'spoons', set the absolute gold standard for tire irons. The hooked end helps prevent slipping and letting go. The narrow design means that the tire remains flexible and there's less "meat" of the tire held by the spoon. The curved design lets you slip the spoon in place; especially useful for stiff-wall tires or rims without much of a center valley. If you're doing tire changes, just skip other spoons and go right for these. You'll thank yourself. Most of the time, I just use these and don't even bother with using the spin bar on my tire changing machine. They're that useful. Perfect design.

Great tire spoons. I love the bend on the one end that allows me to get underneath the tire bead without scratching the rim during the last few bites of beas seating a dirt bike tire. My only complaint is the finish; while it's durable and resistant to slippage... I prefer my spoons to be smooth. These are finished with a sort of parkerizing that doesn't slip under a bead as well as chrome spoons do.
