lifesaver of our family
This Mediterranean diet cookbook is the lifesaver to our family. My families have history of obesity. Most of them are over weighed including my grandma, grandpa, uncles, nieces and nephews.As I turned 40s, I started to gain weigh.Within a year I gained around 15kg. I started to feeling difficult to move around, play with my kids, go duty even taking some steps I felt drained and couldn't catch up my breathe. My son one day said, mom, Can you make it faster. Before you always ahead of me. Now why taking you so long? Soon I realize I need to make a change. I started a healthier diet. The keto diet and gluten free diet but they didn't last more than a month due to the restriction of the food. My friend who used to be over weighed understand how difficult for me to start a healthy lifestyle and diet. She recommended me to cook with this Mediterranean diet cookbook and this cookbook which helped her get through the first and most difficult month. So I bought it!Not soon I found out this cookbook is really a treasure. It covered all the occasions and preferences you can think of. Breakfast, salad, side dish, snack, main course, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, vegetarian, meat-less etc. And all the ingredients the author chose have lot of nutrition, vitamins and fiber who don’t want to go for a a better, healthier option. And it has very few food restriction, all you need just to get used to a new way of cooking.you can get all the ingredients all from any store near your home. That's the best fit for me. Because I just like to get everything in one store. They are easy to prepare and cook. With simple cooking method you get very flavorful meal. The author gives very detailed instructions for each step, including how much time you need to prepare and what you will prepare for a particular ingredient. Even you never cook before, you can make it. My daughter saw me cooking one time, she remember all the steps and she make the dish like me! Not long I start my families started seeing the differences and they started to ask me about it and want me to get them on board. I am happy I stick to the cookbook for the past 4 months and I kept losing weigh. I lost 10 kg already by now. I am feeling wonderful and confident everyday. Thanks a million to the author for your kindness and generous sharing. Keep sharing more tasty recipes. Much love from me and my families!

This is a great cookbook, lots of good, healthy recipes.

Ok recipes
Most are ok. Although some require ingredients that are hard to find in my location. The instructions leave out when to add some items. Over all you can make the recipes without too much hassle. Sometimes finding a substitute can present a challenge.

Yummy Healthy Recipes
These recipes are quick and easy to make. I love that I can make these delicious and healthy meals, even on a busy day!I just bought the book and I've already made the two-cheese pizza bagels and the seared salmon with lemon cream sauce.The pizza bagels were so cheesy good!!! I will be making these a lot. They are my new favorite!At first, I didn't think that I would like the lemon cream sauce, but it paired very well with the salmon. I love that it is made with sour cream and healthy ingredients.This cookbook even comes with a menu plan. I look forward to trying some more recipes!

Recipes without pictures
I gave this as a gift to my daughter-in-law who was just starting the Mediterranean Diet on the advice of her physician. Although it had lots of recipes, there were no pictures of the dishes, just the typed recipes. Not inspirational for a beginner as the cover suggests.

beware of nut flour recipes
I know that nuts are part of this diet, but there is a lot of nut flour used throughout this book. I am also gluten free, which I can usually work around, but there is no replacement for nut flour. Book it totally useless to me.Nothing was said about there being so much nut flour, so I bought it. I am in the process of returning this disappointing book

SCAM!!
This is already the second purchase attempt I have made. I am looking for a cookbook with lots of recipes. The author promises 1200 recipes and after opening the book what I found?In this book there are not 1200 recipes but less than half. There are less than 600. Are you kidding me?The introduction to the diet is almost nonexistent. There are 2 useless little pages with no information. The book is totally devoid of pictures and it seems to be a copy of other books.In this book there are meaningless steps too. Some recipes have steps while others are written in one step. Some ingredients are missing. And the nutritional values seem like a lottery.Returned immediately.
