OMG!! I didn't even realize you could buy these yourself!! I have had so many furbabies that I could have chipped so much easier. I was looking to purchase a scanner when I came across these. We have 2 fur babies but just Incase we had any issues, I ordered the 5 pack. They are so cheap but they are the real deal!!! I was able to chip my Chihuahua/Pomeranian boy myself right at home with zero issues. He does have short hair. My girl is the same breed but she has longer hair and I had trouble with hers. I am glad I purchased the 5 pack because I did have to waste one. They went in for their spay/neuter surgeries and our vet did hers while she was under. But we tested them before inserting them and after and everything pops up like it should. The number is there, it works just like a chip should. It's the exact same as if you went to your vet or SPCA or whoever would do your furbabies chips. I am seriously so thrilled this is an option. My only complaint is myself and not knowing sooner!! I have posted pics of my dogs so you can see how their fur is to get an idea of what I meant. The needles aren't large but they are enough to cause a tiny bit of pain if you are nervous and can't do it quick or have very dramatic dogs like I do lol. I do not have any complaints about the product itself though.

I used this for my Yorkies and it’s perfect. Bought a scanner to make sure it went in because i did not feel it under the skin, but it’s there!

The needles were so dull it was very hard to get it in my dogs. I was very unhappy.

Performed as advertised. The vet would have charged $70. A friend held the puppy while I inserted the chip. I had it read at the vet today. Worked great.
