I have had no issues but am not too hard on my phones. As far as not discoloring, that's not true. In my case.

My husband got this and can’t stop talking about what a great case it is. He never does this so it must be good. It looks like one of those high end cases but he got it for a bargain price on Amazon:)

I Just Received and Tried This Case Out and I Am Not Impressed. After a Couple of Tries of Trying to Fit This Case On Without Any Dirt Getting Stuck Under the Screen, I Finally Got it to Seal Up. After 20 Minutes of Having This Case On, I Noticed a Bunch of Lint and Dust Under the Screen. I Had it Completely Sealed Correctly. So Disappointing!!! At the Price Point, I Was Expecting Better. I Didn't Try to See if it Sealed Out Water Because of the Dust Getting Under the Screen.

The buttons on the case did not line up properly with the buttons on my A23 5G phone. I could not operate the volume button when the phone was in the case, and the power button was barely operable. The camera lenses lined up perfectly with the case, so I know the phone was inserted properly. Also, the headphone input is too recessed to accommodate an L-shaped plug, though I think that other bulky waterproof cases have this same problem.

Samsung A23 5G is NOT IP rated at all for water or dust from the manufacturer. The cover leaves the On/Off/Biometric reader exposed with no plug to cover it so it cannot be IP68 rated for waterproof (refer to pictures from product page and my own). This is a shame since I bought this particular cover for the IP68 rating since I kayak for both leisure and fishing. However, I would personally feel comfortable using this cover during rain. Another issue I had are big thumbs. If you have a larger hand like mine, it will be difficult to get your thumb into the biometric reader (also used as On/Off button). I had to rescan my prints so that just the very tip of my thumb would be read by the scanner. On the plus side the cover did not interfere with screen sensitivity or taking pictures. It does come with a wrist strap and micro cloth to clean your phone and/or cover. Giving it 3 stars b/c of the issue with the exposed button to water.
