Chair good but extra costs

Chair broken. Nightmare getting it delivered then had pay 95 inport tax to have a broken part

Got stung by import charges!
No problem with the product at all.But the chair was already an expensive purchase,delivery was high too but I decided the cost was manageable for me.I have now been sent an invoice for over £100 for import costs,this was not made clear by amazon or the seller & had I known this I would not have bought the item.These additional payments really need to be clear to the customer(especially as I thought it was a scam at 1st & ignored requests).I now have to find £100+ that I just do not have.
