I bought this to hang over my freestanding claw foot tub and it is STUNNING! I grew up by the beach and my husband and I collect sea shells from all over the world. This chandelier just sums up our personalities and love of beach and its beauty! It takes some tender handling of the shells while assembling the light fixture...somewhat like hanging potato chips...VERY fragile. But if a breeze hits these strands of shells ever so slightly, it is like wind chimes delightfully playing in our bathroom. Couldn’t love it more...especially for the price. I used a 100 watt dimmable LED frosted round light bulb and it is the bomb!

The photo of this chandelier on Amazon's website looked like exactly what I wanted. When I got it and put it together (way more than the 1/2 hour instructions say it will take), it looked like a bunch of dirty shells hanging out to dry. Because I really wanted the chandelier as pictured on Amazon's site, I contacted the manufacturer, sent a few photos of the mess, and they were very responsive and quick to send me a whole second chandelier package. Problem is that the shells on the second were as bad--or maybe even worse--than the shells in the original package! I have spent days trying to mix and match shells from both sets in order to have a final product that looks decent, but after all the work I've done, the chandelier looks filthy and terrible. I'm so disappointed in the quality of this chandelier. I'm not talking about natural swirls in shells--I'm talking about brown (yes!) splatterings inside the shells (if they were on the surface, I would have just washed them all--that's how much I wanted this chandelier!) If you are looking to buy this chandelier, take note that it does not look as clean and shiny as the picture shows! I'm now struggling with whether to just get used to the dirty shells, or trying to package up TWO chandeliers with hundreds of pieces and returning them both.

The chandelier is really cute but it was USED. I did not order a used item so I had expected it to be new. Also there was a part missing. Customer service could not issue a partial refund to make up the difference between the amount I paid and the price for a used item. Nor did they offer assistance locating the missing part. I am keeping the item because it's functional and looks nice and I don't want to go to the trouble of sending it back, but it could have been a better experience

Missing some of the decorative hanging parts. Very mice light just need the missing pieces.
