Good idea
Helped make a meal special. Used as individual salad servers.As delivered they were too wide open (often an issue with food tongs) more suited to picking up doughnuts than olives etc but by squashing down hard near the bent end I corrected that. The edges feel a bit sharp and that might be a problem but it wasn't for us. I would have been happy to have paid a bit more to get smooth edges. Despite that, still 4 stars for novelty and usefulness.
