I’ve been having my nails done at salons for years and have in the past tried different gel nail kits at home, but never found they lasted longer than a week so stuck with salon gels. I recently decided to try a new home gel kit after finding that the gel polishes at my new salon kept peeling and chipping and took a punt on this….It’s fantastic! I took time to fully prep my nails (cuticles, buffing etc) and cured the gels for 60 seconds each coat. It was so easy to use, dried quickly and the polishes were lovely to apply. The finish was perfect after 2 coats of colour and I didn’t need to redo my nails for 2 weeks. Plus my nails take a battering as I have a toddler, go swimming etc.I’m so glad I went for this brand after reading different reviews, it’s the best kit I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a few!) and the longevity plus finish are as good as going to a decent salon.

No chips! Finally! I tried a lot of brands and none of them last for a week. This last as long as I want to. Sometimes longer than want to. Removes easily with a proper remover. Absolutely love it and highly recommend. You need about 4 layers but it stays!

I really wanted to like this product, and I did! It took a little while to get used to doing the process myself but it went pretty smoothly. The nails lasted for about 1.5 weeks and were easy to remove. At the nail salon they tend to last 2 weeks, hence the 4 stars. I’m happy I found it so I can save some money!

This kit has everything you need to start doing your own gel nails, including some well-written instructions. I see on their website that they do a similar kit with pale gels. This one came with a really bright red and a black gel which I will never use - unless I go mad at Hallowe’en! It also has a light mauvy-pink gel. Unlike salon gels, these didn’t smell chemical at all. They went on as easily as normal polish. I ordered a set of pale polishes separately and have since ordered some nail wraps (for removing the gel nails). The LED ‘dryer’ is curved and the lights run round the curve on the inside which means the sides of the nails are cured as well as the tops. The LED unit seems very sturdy. The gel nails soaked off with an acetone-based nail polish remover and my nails seem none the worse for it. I have applied gel nails twice now with the kit and the gel has stayed on for at least two weeks. I am very impressed and wish I had bought this product years ago.

After getting my nails done professionally a few times recently I definitely caught the wanting to have lovely nails all the time bug. The last time I paid £25 to have them professionally done and one chipped in under a week (I was so gutted!) so I figured I'd give a DIY at home a go and settled on this set as it would only take a couple of trips to the salon to cover the price.It's one of the more expensive starter sets I've seen on amazon but I would definitely recommend this brand. So far I've done my nails twice and am so happy with the results. They easily last two weeks and I only removed them to have a change of colour. I find them easier than normal nail polish as you don't have to sit around waiting to dry/cure. Just 30/60 seconds under the UV lamp and your ready for your next coat or good to go. I think it takes patience to do them neatly so set up a tv show in the background so you can take your time. I'm no where near salon level at painting my nails (yet!) but I think this is a brilliant at home and much more affordable way to do it.

Great kit for a beginner. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Varnish goes on great! My friend recommended this after buying a few cheap lamps and they all broke after a few month's. This has lasted her so I'm giving it a go myself. So far I'm impressed.

i love love love this kit. i was tired of spending $40+ on gel manicures every 2-3 weeks at the salon where the quality was hit or miss. i bought this kit to see how it would match up next to salon level polishes, and it’s honestly better. my at home manicures last just as long as salon manicures (2-3 weeks MINIMUM). the colors provided are great for starting out. i’ve used this kit to do 3 manicures over the last month an a half and it’s paying for itself. i’m very happy with this purchase.

Ich bin ein Anfänger mit Shelllack. Aber das Handling und die Beschreibung sind auch wirklich für Anfänger zu beherrschen. Sehr gute Qualität und alles dabei was man brauch. Der Lack hält bei mir ca. 4 Wochen. Ich würde das Set immer wieder kaufen.

Pre- care is important for a good manicure. Start by removing cuticles followed by buffing the nail surface2. Cure base coat for 60s and even after that it may be tacky and that’s how it should be.3. The color coat has to be as thin as possible and should be cured for 120s or more4. The top coat is most trickiest, as per the manual you should clean the top coat with cleaning wipes but it makes the lose it shine by doing so… therefore it up to you how you finish themAll in all it’s a great hobby to have and with practice you can do so much more

Ein super Anfänger Set um sich selbst Gel Nägel zu machen.Hab es gekauft um meine Naturnägel zu verstärken, da sie mir regelmäßig an den Seiten eingerissen sind.Jetzt mit der Verstärkung ist es so gut wie nicht mehr.Hab mittlerweile für mich herausgefunden dass bei mir 2 Schichten Farbe zwischen Top- und Basecoat ausreicht.Im Nachhinein würde ich mir wahrscheinlich eher die einzelnen Komponenten einzeln (Lampe,Base,Top und ein helles Rosa) kaufen da ich doch lieber dezente Farben benutze.Mit der Haltbarkeit bin ich auch mehr als zufrieden. Nach ca 3 Wochen mache ich die alten Schichten teilweise ab und übertrage dann die neuen Schichten. Dadurch sind meine Nägel endlich mal länger geworden( siehe Bild) sonst sind sie nie über die Finger Spitze gewachsen.Halten würde das Gel wahrscheinlich auch länger.

Da ich Recht weiche Nägel habe, bricht und blättert normaler Nagellack nach 3 Tagen von den Nägeln, vor allem auch wenn man den Abwasch etc. macht. Base Coat, Farbe und Top Coat lassen sich sehr einfach auftragen, unter dem Licht habe ich es ein wenig länger aushärten lassen (aus Angst es sei noch nicht trocken). Bisher sind 3 Tage vergangen und die Nägel sind noch perfekt wie am ersten Tag. Wie lange sie maximal halten wird sich zeigen, ebenso wie die Entfernung des Gels.Update: Der Nagellack hat problemlos 2 Wochen gehalten. Zum Entfernen habe ich mir Nagellackentferner mit Aceton gekauft, 30min in Alufolie gewickelt. Das Abkratzen war echt mühsam, jedoch habe ich auch vorsichtig versucht den Nagellack abzukratzen. Werde nach einer Alternative suchen. Mit ein bisschen Sorgfalt und Übung sehen die Nägel echt perfekt aus und man spart sich den Gang zum Nagelstudio. Bis auf die umständliche Entfernung ist es echt ein sehr gutes Set.
