I bought the acacia wood lid variety rather than the bamboo so I would have the recess in the lids for stable stacking. I found that one lid in the set of 9 was not secure though no one should expect to be able to pick these up by the lid. I put a 1/4 in wide rubber band around the top and pushed it down so it sits right behind the existing seal such that it is both invisible and adds extra girth/stability to the seal. That resolved the loose lid issue very well if anyone else is having the same problem.Other than that, I rubbed each lid liberally with food grade mineral oil and let absorb for a couple of hours before wiping dry and filling the containers. I used to store my coffee & tea in mason/ball jars but these are much handsomer on the countertop and much easier to stack in the cupboard. They are thin glass so I wouldn't expect them to survive a drop but other than that, I expect with careful handling they should last a good long time.

I also have purchased the spice jars. They are a great price and the labels are cute. The lids aren’t as airtight as the spice jars though.

Very nice, mostly easy to clean and durable.

smaller than i thought

I have literally just taken these out of the box so I'm giving my initial review- I have not used them yet so have nothing to say about that.BUT, I will say there is a lack of consistency with the product.I will start by saying there was some human error on my end. I did not realize when I ordered- what I thought- was the same product in different set sizes, it's actually just slightly different in that one lid set has bamboo lids and one set has wood. I actually was wanting all wood so it's a bit of a bummer but not a big deal. I do wish the company had all set options available in both styles of lids so that I wouldn't have made this mistake. I wanted a variety of sizes, I shouldn't have to forego style just so I can have variety- especially if the product is clearly available, they just don't sell it together the same way.With that said, the different lids are actually advertised as having the same sized jars, but in reality, the jars with bamboo lids have a larger circumference. So even if I somehow just ordered more wood lids, they would be too small. I'll also add that one of the jars with a wood lid was a little taller than the others with wood lids, but still smaller circumference than bamboo lidded jars.I did receive one jar with a warped bottom, that I plan on reporting to the seller. It doesn't sit flat, it wobbles.Overall, not a huge deal, I'm being nitpicky, which is why it's still 4-stars. The product still looks nice, I'm just not a bamboo kinda gal so I'm a little sad about that.*Editing to add, they very promptly replaced my extra wobbly jar- thank you! Keeping at 4 stars still because of the inconstancy overall.*

Update-they did send a replacement lid! Thank you. Good customer serviceReceived with cracked lid. For an item that is not cheap, I expect better quality. I did email them and received no response. I just want a replacement lid but it seems like I’m unable to get one

These are pretty flimsy and the lids don’t fit on right. When they clasp down there is a little gap so it’s not tight. Wish I wouldn’t have bought two sets.

Everything great but durability I am not sure, I already broke one,was barley touch one the other and one of them broke. You have to be really really careful. Everything else is good.

Works perfectly. Lids close shut. They came neatly packed in individual boxes. Fits my pasta which is important if you’re getting a set. No defects in my set
