LD Compatible Panasonic KX-FAT92 Black Laser Toner (KXFAT92) for the KX-MB271 & KX-MB781

For the price, the LD Compatible Panasonic KX-FAT92 laser toner cartridge is a reasonable product. Didn't seem like it lasted long enough.

This is the second toner cartridge I've purchased from this seller. The previous one lasted for about a year with regular use, which I was very happy with. This one arrived in perfect condition with great documentation on how to install it. It's been in use for 2 weeks and it works perfectly.

THE BAD:I am very unhappy with this LD replacement for the KX FAT92 toner. I purchased one of these LD replacements months ago and I didn't get around in asking for my refund because I wrote off the entire printer as a whole due to the lack of aftermarket support options.THE VERY BAD:This thing leaked toner dust everywhere! The dust was on the drum, plastics and all over the room. I should have called HAZMAT or the local FD to hose down the place. I can tell you that I'm a hardware certified tech and no dummy when it comes to a simple task such as toner replacement, you are getting a very accurate review here from my experience.THE GOOD:I have purchased an LD Branded HP replacement toner and that has worked as good as original if not better.THE END:I think the big problem is the KXFAT92 is not as good a design as the HP line up of toner replacements. Panasonic devices seem picky unless you use OEM. You really are rolling the dice when it comes to quality with an off brand. I will never buy another Panasonic device or product again.

Nov 19, Replacement CartridgeI received the replacement cartridge. Initially, like the first cartridge, the print quality was good. After a few days (I print about 10 pages per day) the print quality diminished. Like the first cartridge, the toner is not evenly distributed. If you don't mind taking our the cartridge and shaking it to get quality print, this cartridge will work for you. But, if you want quality print without taking out the cartridge and shaking it, look elsewhere.Nov 10, Updated ReviewI spoke up too soon. Right after I wrote my review of Nov 2, within days, the print quality went south. The print page is streaked, with too much toner in that area.What I did to fix the problem - I took out the cartridge and shook it to distribute the toner. That fixed the print problem, temporarily, BUT I do not want to do it every few times I have something printed. Worst, it makes a mess. There is toner all over the place; my hands, clothes, the printer, desk, and on my VERY LIGHT carpet!"100% Satisfaction Guaranteed," yes, that's what's printed on the box. I called the 888-321-2552 number. They are sending me another cartridge. We'll see if that one is any better. Based on the negative review (one at the time) I was hesitant about the produce. However, due to the price difference and my very limited budget, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The cartridge was easy to order, it came in a timely manner, the installation was easy, and the quality of print is great. I am ever so happy. Thank you :)

This product works as expected and was easier than than on the install than the origional. Personally I wish the seller had the dry ink toner in jugs I would rather buy a refill type and buy these as needed but still satisfied. Excellent product. Great toner with no problems and I look forward to using this seller again for future purchases.

I like this product, it fit well into my printer. Price was great compared to brand name. Only issue I had with it is that when you pull off the sticker that is used to seal it, some of the foam comes off and affects the printing for the first few pages, after that started printing fine. If they would use the easy to remove film instead, it would be perfect. However I will still buy this product because it's price is sooooooooo much lower than the brand name, and now that I know the issue I know to take more care in removing the sticker.

Thanks to the low price, I ordered 2 of these for my KX-MB781 laser printer when the supplied cartridge was nearing its empty mark. What a mistake... It worked good for about a week, then started getting very poor quality copies and printouts.This also started at a time when I had a paper jam from the rear manual paper feed, and thought that the drum was damaged. I ordered a new drum (orig. Panasonic) and it didn't correct the problem. If I took everything apart and cleaned it, you would get decent, but not great copies for less than a week, then progressively would get worse.After finding out that there are no local service centers for the printer, and would have to be shipped out for evaluation, I just bought a cheap Brother laser to use and just used this unit for faxes and scanning.Just to try, I refilled the supplied Panasonic cartridge with toner that I bought for the Brother unit to refill, and now it's back to great quality prints like new.When I looked inside the LD cartridge taken out, the toner inside was all balled up, and there were globs of toner all inside and around the drum.
