Cystic acne useful
It definitely helps cystic acne not be as inflamed but it isnt a cure all. It doesnt make your zits go away or anything like that. Just helps them not hurt as much.

I originally purchased the DEES system with only the hair removal tool. After noticing my face clear after using the hair removal lamp, I decided to give the acne lamp a try. I did not read that 2 to 3 pulses per area are needed per treatment. With that in mind, I only pulse once on each area. Theoretically you are able to apply a single pulse per area every day. I immediately use the lamp on my T-spot when I noticed the area at the beginning stages of it becoming a problem. The very next morning the area is flattened. I love how quickly it works. Because of the overall versatility of the device, I highly recommend buying the entire system which includes all three lamps. Most cost effective than going to a spa to get all 3 procedures done. Plus this does not irritate my skin. The pulses of light generated do not burn the skin. No need to apply a numbing gel.

Vendor confused on what they are selling??
Ordered two. Received one Hair Removal in a box and the second was the Acne Control lens (AC). High price considering only one lamp cover was sent to replace the 3 the unit comes with originally.

Highly recommended
Works fabulous. I have PCOS and suffer from acne due to long ingrown hairs under my facial skin which can cause scarring. I use this after the hair removal lamp to stop the acne when the hair begins to uproot. Life saver highly worth it. The only thing that works for me and I have tried almost everything. Far more affordable than spa treatments and I can hit the spot any time prior to it getting out of control.

Love this lamp! I use it after using the HR lamp and it has really decreased the breakouts caused by the growth of the new hair to almost none! It’s a must buy with DEESS!

Brand new purchase.
Seems to be helpful if you hit the area immediately after the skin rises. I also use the SR light.
