Lord & Hodge 1074-0 Grommet Refills

They're grommets, intended for use with the Lord & Hodge tool. In my case, I needed to tension a movie theater screen (pictured).No complaints thus far. Every box contained the right number, there were no manufacturing defects, and they worked properly with the L&H grommet tool.Wish they had these in nickel at the same price, but... so it goes.And... they're grommets. It's not rocket science. If you need something dependable, these will meet your expectations, but I imagine this is something that would be difficult to get wrong.

This refill kit is the exact same product that comes in the starter kit where you get all the dies and such to install them properly.I bought the refill kit because I had the feeling that I would find more uses for them once I started using them. I have done just that.I would not consider these heavy duty, but you kind of figure that out by the size. They are more than adequate for what intended to use them for. I was a first time user of this type product and I must say, I didn't goof up one set yet of all that I installed so far.

There is nothing wrong with the product it performs as one would expect but, it must loose stars because the packages do not contain the advertised number of Grommets and rings. I purchased two packages each promising to provide 24 Grommets and 24 rings. The first package contained only 23 Grommets and 24 rings. The second contained 24 Grommets and 23 rings. That means that in my experience I was short changed 100% of the time. That is not good.

I've been using these for a while for different grommeted garments because they make a clean edge where the pieces connect and thus don't snag other fabrics that might come in contact with it. I've yet to have one split.For use for clothing, if you can avoid it, don't use the hole cutter (it doesn't really cut. It's kind of ok for leather, but just barely. Buy a proper hole maker for leather if you're doing production work). Use an awl to open up the hole so you're not breaking up the fibers.

I ordered these because a different seller didn't provide the expected 24 sets or 48 total grommet pieces. Anyway DEERSO sent my order out very quickly and then followed up with an email asking if everything was good. I was confused and thought the email was from the original vender but DEERSO was going to make sure I had everything correct. All in all I realized my confusion. I would definitely order from this vender again. The grommets themselves are as expected and if I need more I know where to get them.

I love these grommets. They are true grommets with both pieces, and they are sturdy enough not to bend under pressure. I use these for corsets and other garments, and I hate the flimsy ones that bend out of shape under stress. These ones are awesome. I will say that ordering them straight from the manufacturer you can get larger quantities and save some money, but the item itself is awesome.

Good, although it would be nice if the grommets were notched so that the metal would bend more easily to create a better-looking finished grommet. Overall, good sturdy grommets.

I bought the grommet kit first -- and it showed up with half the number of grommets I thought it would have. So I bought twice as many of the refills I needed...!!! This refill kit comes with 24 entire grommets (ie 48 pieces total to make 24 complete grommets). Once I figured this out I was set :) Grommets are quite nice, work well with the kit and are good for my crafty purposes.
