Nervous at first - but so happy I got it
Alright - so if you're looking at the reviews of this stuff, you're probably where I was at...does this little zip lock bag and some velcro really protect your camera? I have a Canon SX 110 IS. It's a decent sized camera (not an SLR or anything, but a "superzoom" with a 10x optical zoom). When I first got the product I filled my bathtub (literally all the way up), put some toilet paper in the bag, sealed it up, and sunk it to the bottom, shook it around, then put a weight on it to keep it submerged for 2 hours. No leaks. Two days later I left on my honeymoon, and during the entire trip I was so glad I had it. At first I was hesitant because the camera (although not ridiculously expensive), still goes for like $230. By the end of the trip, everyone was asking about it, and I went snorkeling probably about a dozen times, comfortably dove under water about 15-20 feet with the camera in the case and not a drop of water ever got in. In addition, I haven't had any problems with the "halo" affect others have described, although I can see if the bag is too big for the camera that you could have some issues lining it up, but I never had an issue with the SX110 IS and this bag. The pictures came out great, the only problem is it is a little hard to see the LCD on the camera when you're under water. A few times I had to kind of point and hope because I was focused on a dozen different things and there was a slight glare on the screen, but even the "point and hope" method worked great for me and I got some great shots. I was even able to zoom in using the extra lens attachment. VERY happy with this product and have already recommended to family and friends. The biggest thing is make sure you get the right sized Dicapac for your camera. This bag is perfect for the Canon SX110 IS. I wouldn't take it deep diving, but for snorkeling the pictures are far superior to a throw away, or even many of the more expensive underwater digital cameras out there, and never had an issue or a worry about my camera after the first snorkeling trip.

Product works as described but with some issues and learning curve
I bought this product after reading a few reviews on Amazon.com. I used this product with my Canon SX120IS during my trip to the Galapagos Islands back in Dec. The product fits the SX120IS resonably well. The SX120IS is the same size as the SX130IS as many here have mentioned that this bag would fit. However, I did notice that the camera tends to shift inside the bag sometimes and I ended up taking picture with the lense extension tube partially blocking my lense. There is a bit of a learning curve on using this bag; it took me 2 days to get use to taking picture with this bag with all its nuiances below. Here's the pros : 1.) Easy to used and works as described - make sure you test for leaks first. 2.) Picture taken up to depths of 5 meters - I didn't go any deeper. 3.) Easy clean up. 4.) Fit various camera - I lend a friend and it works on his sony as well. 5.) It floats - I actually lost my grip on the camera bag and it floats so I can find it easilyCons : 1.) Not exact fit for the SX120IS 2.) Difficult to manipulate buttons on Camera - Many people mentioned this already 3.) Accidentally pushes buttons on the camera and changing settings - This is probably the biggest issue with the bag compared with an actually case. It keep putting my camera to Macro Mode when I use the bag. I don't know if it's the position of the Macro button or what but this is my main gripe about this bag.Overall : I'm quite happy with this bag and would recommend it to future buyer. It's really between a 3-Stars and 4-Stars. Truthfully, my true rating of this product is 3 1/2 Stars for the price and reasonable functionality of the bag. If not because of the Macro button issue, I would have rated it 4-stars.DMAN

Great item, esp for the price
Bought this item to take to Cozumel snorkeling. On previous trips to Hawaii, we tried the cheap 35mm in a plastic box. You were limited to 24 or 36 pics, and had to wait for developing to see if anything turned out. This allowed you to download the pics and see them immediately. I was fortunate in that I could plug the USB cord into the camera in the side of the camera by the velcro opening. Getting the camera in and out of the case is difficult and a time consuming process, but I suppose it has to be, to ensure a water-tight seal. I was using our older (circa 2002) Olympus C700 digital camera. If there had been a catastrophic failure, no big loss. But even with working the camera in and out of the case several times (to change batteries), it still never leaked.Never had ANY leaking problems or fogging problems. It is difficult to see through the viewfinder, and the display screen on the back of the camera was basically impossible to see underwater. Not the case's fault, just the way the lighting goes underwater.I only used the camera in 3-8' of water, and probably never had the camera more than 4' under the surface (my diving technique is not great).Had LOTS OF FUN chasing fish and taking pics. Remember that its a numbers game. With the lighting issues and moving targets, only about 10-20% of the pics will be decent. I met a professional underwater photographer while on Cozumel, and she suggested to adjust the 'White Balance', which seemed to help.In total, I probably shot 3-400 underwater pics.Anyway, great way to have fun, shoot lots of pics underwater but not spend a fortune.

Too many bad points
I bought this not for underwater photography, but for canoe trips where there is the risk of me and the camera ending up in the river. There are a number of issues with this case:1. Panasonic LX100 is slightly to deep to allow the zoom lens to fully extend (Ithink this is due to the view finder, which sticks out about a centimetre or so)2. The bags material is too thick and rigged to allow use of the camera controls. It is simply not the right material for the job. Pushing the shutter button is pretty easy, so long as you position your finger before lining up the shot (you cannot feel anything through the bag). Trying to adjust the zoom during shooting is impossible, and you have to struggle with it before you point and shoot. Trying to turn the auto/P/A/S knob is even more difficult. Effectively, you have to spend a not inconsiderable amount of time setting up the camera before pointing it to shoot. This will be a major problem when filming/photographing under water, as you will not know how the camera has to be set up until you are actually in the water and can adjust it for the light conditions. I cannot believe this product was not tested by the manufacturer, and the faults were not spotted.3. If the lens is not extended in zoom mode it is set back in the case's lens tube, and this effects the amount of light that reaches the lens. This will mean a slower shutter speed, and a much increased risk of blurred photographs. The material used for the Overboard camera bag is much more pliable and you can adjust the camera more easily. Unfortunately, that case is too small for my camera.I have not bothered testing if the bag is waterproof, as I have not intention of using it for the reasons above.Overall, I do not recommend this as a camera bag that can be used in a way that is practical.Another item for the jumble.

Good product but not great for cameras with dials
I did a lot of research on waterproof cases for my X100t, you can go full on and get a hard case but they cost several hundred as opposed to £30 so went for this.Used during a packrafting trip, in a group of 10 with 4 SLR type cameras mine was the only one that survived, and survived several submersions for a fair amount of time - so the case is properly waterproof - no doubt.BUTMy camera has a fair few dials as opposed to just buttons, these are almost impossible to use through the case so adjusting any manual settings proved to difficult to bother so I ended up using it as a point and shoot.A lot of the advice I read about cases was actually not to bother and just buy a tough camera to use in those environments leaving your expensive camera behind, and because I could only use it as a point and shoot I wish I'd done that as I wasn't able to take advantage of having a fully controllable camera with me.So great product but actually spend £80 and get a full camera you can chuck about.

Good idea, flawed execution
Bought with a Sony NEX5 in mind....... and it's still sitting in my desk drawer. I really should have sent it back but got side-tracked. The lens "thing" is a right faff to get the system lenses into and while I'm sure the quality of the bag is excellent, I wouldn't waste my time or money again. If you give up and use a pancake wide angle lens then all your pics are circular...... a pain.If you want waterproof, get a Sony Action Cam HD and marvel at what a little piece of plastic can really do for stills and video. Underwater pics are generally lacking in sharpness anyway so any loss in image quality in comparison with your expensive compact camera is negligible.

Long zoom lens
Bought this case for my next holiday in the rain forest of Patagonia as wetness would have ruined my camera, as I wasn't sure which one to buy because My camera has a rather long zoom lens so I contacted the seller in Germany, on his advice I bought the WP-610 and also the extension ring, so now I can fully zoom my lens and keep my camera dry. If you have any doubts contact the seller he replies quickly.

Perfect.
Bought this for our holiday in Florida. I used in the pool at the Villa and also snorkelling in sea water at Discovery cove. The product worked perfectly and is very easy to use. My camera is a Canon G15 and this was a perfect fit, but I am pretty sure it would fit most compacts. Also, a tiny Pixie could live in it for up to 1 hour underwater.
