0/4/8/ Gauge AWG Positive & Negative Battery Terminal Square Appearance with Top Post Adapter (1 Pair)

I looked for many solution to dealing with a high output alternator and 1/0 guage wiring for my car audio amplifiers. I eventually settled on these because they were a little cheaper priced than another brand of similar design. So far I have them installed and they're working well. Took some creative thinking to align everything and also keep my factory wiring attached. I currently don't have the fuses installed to my car audio equipment and I still need to install the high output alternator and then I'll 100% know how things are but do far everything's working good.Also, I accidentally slightly stripped the screw inserts while trying to get it tightened down to the terminal post. It fits snug but I really wanted some extra inserts for the future to be safe. I contacted the seller and they're sending me 3 sets of screw inserts with hex screws so that I'll have enough to last the lifetime of the product. They would have shipped the single replacement out to me but since I wanted a couple extra they charged me $1 plus $5 shipping. After dealing with other companies on replacement parts lately, this seemed a very reasonable price and I was happy to now have extras.I'll come back and update if I need to once everything is going.

I have the name brand version of these and they're VERY similar. These just aren't finished like the other brand, not rounded off at the edges for example. I put them on my yellow top battery for a sound system in my 96 2door tahoe and I have no complaints.

I used the 2/0 size for the ground cable and the 4 gauge on the positive side. The only recommendation I could make would be to purchase adapters for an amp install. This would make a stronger connection at the clamp screws.

when installed they place your battery cables in different places. I could not use one due to no space to reroute cable.

Priced well however, wherever these were made, someone decided that molten metal on the side screw was a good idea.I cursed the screw back to its creators lineage.These are great in quality but that last screw had me flaming.I had to use all my strength to rethread the screw by hand with a hex key. It hurt as the keys aren't big and using an impact gun could have possibly worsened the problem.If this happens to you be prepared to call upon your colorful imagination as your patience runs out and you call it every fun name your parents told you not to call someone.Remove both of those side screws completely before installing so you know ahead of time if they're good.Can't stress this enough as I tested 1 side only and life made me pay for my assumptions on the other one.

I didn't realize that the set screws to add accessories are on the bottom where they aren't accessible when installed. I had a recent incident where I need to straight wire an electric fan to get out of the woods and it was more of a pain than it should have been. The set screws should come in from the top. I would like to return it but am outside the window. There are better options out there.

Frigan amazing and very versatile compared other terminals and the fact that you don't have to cut your factory cables if you don't want to is something that's not on most. Very good price to.
