Real nice
The pick is very small but itโs what I wanted . Very comfortable in my hand . The logo on the puck does help with holding it also . Thanks you !!

Clayton Acetal are old favorites
Clayton Acetal small teardrop picks are what I grab for hybrid picking and going between rythym and lead. For straight strumming I prefer the larger teardrop shape and keep both in my stage kit.

tear drop guitar pick
I love these small picks. I was told several years ago that if I used these types of picks that I would become a better guitar player and at that time I was very skeptical. After playing guitar for the last 31 years I can say without hesitation that I am a better guitar player and these picks are part of that process. I noticed that the larger picks got in my way at times and I started out using the very thin picks as well as large picks. I decided to try the smaller tear drop picks and I found I liked them. You have to play a lot more precise using these small picks. I also noticed that I was breaking the thin picks almost every time I used them, so I started to experiment with the thicker tear drops and found that I liked the sounds they produced. The nuances were much more pronounced and I could get several sounds by the pressure I would put on the strings with the tear drops. The thicker the pick, and the smaller the pick, the better the sound and the cleaner the picking had to be in order to create that sound that you only get when you hit that string with a small medium to hard tear-drop guitar pick. You will love the country sounds, and nothing creates that heavy metal squeal like a good solid tear drop pick. I ware the tips of the pick down until it becomes rounded. When they are no longer pointed I still will use them for certain songs that require a certain sound that only the small picks are able to make. I never would have believed that a small thing like a guitar pick would make such an impact on the way I played over the last 31 years. I buy them by the dozen but may splurge and buy a couple of hundred to have on hand.P.S. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but never ever pick your friends nose. Amazing tone
These are the best picks I have used, period. I am a very amateur player and my tastes veer towards classic hard rock/metal: Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc. These Clayton picks have replaced my old Tortex picks as go-to. They hit the strings just right for me (but this is a personal thing and will vary depending on your angle of attack and picking style) so you need to try before you place a bulk order. I can give you one good reason vs the Tortex for you to give this a try. Tone. The strings sing with a full, warm sound... it's quite a stark difference really. Tortex sounds way better than the standard plastic picks but these Claytons take it to another level. And there's one word of warning. These erode faster than Tortex. But for me the overall trade is a winner!

Super small pick
Very small pick if thatโs what your looking for wasnโt for me but Iโll keep them try them as I get better with guitar. Seems good quality.

Teardrop picks are awesome for staying put.
For the past 15 years, I had been using Gator 1.5mm picks. They are great for no delay in picking solos, but are not good for sweep picking. The full size extra thick picks, would often spin in my hand, and they had a bow in them after an hour of use. 30 years ago, while taking jazz guitar lessons, I had used these Clayton teardrop picks, because the teacher used them. I later found out that many guitar heroes use extra heavy picks, and that Brian May uses a British coin, so I switched to the 1.5 mm picks. ! I recently learned some very difficult solos, and had a few of these laying around. I nailed the solos, thanks to these picks (and a hundred hours of practicing), so I ordered more, and recommend them.

Best Picks ... for me.
- Size (Personal Preference): I love the size, but it's a standard teardrop shape so you can find that elsewhere.- Weight/Thickness (Personal Preference): I think I like the 1.0mm best, but I needed more so I bought a little heaver pick.- Material (Somewhat personal preference): This is where the difference comes in, they wear very smoothly. Depending on how you play some picks will wear more unevenly but I have been very happy with these. So overall, "it's a pick", so aside from design (which I love the color and design/logo of Clayton), and personal preference when it comes to size and weight, it really comes down to the material in which I feel is top grade. These are my picks ... have been for 15+ years.

Favorite picks. Picks are personal but try these.
Iโm picky about my picks. These have become the weapon of choice for sure. Easy to hold. Thick enough to be precise but still some flex. Love the material and finish.

I also like the logo !
I really like these picks. They are what some players may call " jazz " picks because they are small in size. I enjoy them because of that for more control, dexterity and speed. I order that thickness for the same reason. I also like the logo, lol.

Disappointing
After reading some other reviews I thought I would try these picks as they appeared to be rather "special". Delivery from Amazon was excellent and they came within 2 days. The illustration against which I ordered showed a variety of thicknesses but I was sent a pack of all 1.00mm which I would have preferred anyway so that wasn't a problem. However I found them unsuitable and I don't like the "thin" sound compared with usual "tortoishell" type picks of the same thickness. I use roundwound strings on a LGB30 archtop guitar and it's really difficult to explain but these acetal polymer picks sound completely different and there is no warmth in them. I cannot in all honesty recommend them and for me they were a waste of money.I shall be continuing using Fender 1.00mm Heavy or 1.5mm D'Andrea which suit my style of playing.
