CompTIA Project+ Practice Tests: Exam PK0-004

Purchased the Kindle Edition and used as last minute prep for the PK0-003 exam (most of the concepts and terminology seemed to be very similar). I worked through the problems in Chapter 1 (Project Basics) and did both 90 question practice exams.Overall, this really helped. The more practice you get answering questions, the more prepared you will be. This was a great resource.I am taking away a star because of two things:1. The answer choices under each question are labeled as 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. However, when grading your answers, the answers their are listed as A, B, C, D, etc. This was a little annoying.2. In Chapter 1, the question numbering seemed to be off half way through the group of 205 questions, which made it a little difficult when grading. Again, just a minor annoyance to be grading problem 65, which corresponded to problem 66 in the answer key, for example.These two issues may just be with the Kindle version. It just needs a little more editing. But the quality of the questions is great, and I passed my test using this and a couple other study guides on Amazon.

This worked out great for the tests, they have 3 rotating test, so I am told and this will have you prepared. I recommend getting the study guide with it as well.

These are not Brain Dump questions, nor should they be. These practice tests will give a good feel for how the actual CompTIA Project+ test will be and they do an excellent job of measuring your knowledge of the subject matter! Using these practice tests along with the study guide, I passed the test on the first try.

Real test is harder :) So this book is not enough. But still have pasted the test from first time :)

It helped me pass

Easy to understand but test questions on the exam were very different, I passed but not easily.

I had no experience with Project Management prior to attempting this certification. I studied using only this book and the online database for 2 weeks and earned my certification the first time up. Very good job of breaking up the need to know and reinforcing everything in the summary's and with the quizzes.

I run an IT training company and we typically purchase this book for every Project+ student that comes through the door. This is a great, concise books that is a must have for anyone prepping for this exam.

Livre très utile pour revoir et tester les concepts et vérifier si on a les a bien compris même si les questions de l'examen sont beaucoup plus difficiles. J'a i acheté aussi le Study guide de Sybex et j'ai passé mon test vendredi dernier. Ces 2 livres sont beaucoup plus utiles que le study guide officiel de CompTIA qui n'offre aucun contexte.

Very useful, but do not expect to find the same type of questions in this book and at the exam center. The book will pound the core notions of project management into your brain but during the exam you will have to wield these notions smartly.

OK for understanding basic concepts , but questions does not replicate what the exam asks . I took the exam and passed , but the book's questions bear no resemblance to actual exam questions.
