Perfect gift.
I wanted to get something symbolic and special for my dad's retirement party but I was on a budget. This was a perfect choice. It comes in a black cardboard box that is nice to wrap. The leather case is a great fit and looks really nice. The compass itself has good weight to it. The inscription was nicely printed. I can't really speak to the accuracy or direction but the needle of the compass seems to perform well and isn't sticky. My dad was very pleased with the gift. It brought a tear to his eye and he passed it around to show coworkers. I highly recommend this thoughtful gift if you're looking for a heartwarming token.

loved the item
This was very nice. I was not sure about the product but received it today. Loved the case and compass. It reminded me of old world very nice and priced reasonably. The reading on it was a little small but done well. I would get it again.

Small engraving
Very nice product. Loved the look and feel of it. Case perfect. My only problem was the engraving. It could barely be read which was a shame because the sentiment was beautiful. Perhaps a smaller quote in a larger font could be offered?

Son in law loved this gift
My son in law loved this gift. He said to me “you always find the most unique and meaningful gifts!” It was beautiful and functional and the price for the quality was great. Inly thing I would say is I wish the leather case was a little more substantial (thicker leather) but it was really nice even as it is.

Great gift, but not the best working compass.
Great gift, but not the best working compass. The compass is beautiful. It is accurate. But it’s more of a desk piece than a professional compass. It does not have number degradations.
